Dual initiatives partnering the Obama administration with leading African-American ministries emerged yesterday that appear designed to work around IRS restrictions on church political campaigning, and to create pressure against proceeding with a contempt of Congress citation against Attorney General Eric Holder for failure to comply with Operation Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal-related subpoenas.
Holder, the IRS, and the liberal lawyers at the ACLU will brief several hundred pastors in the African American community on how to participate in the presidential election -- which the Congressional Black Caucus chair expects will help President Obama's campaign, The Washington Examiner reported Tuesday.
On the same day a letter was sent by a The Leadership Conference, with African American Ministers in Action joining various progressive organizations characterizing the focus on Holder as a rush to judgment and repeating administration talking points and insinuations that the investigation was a partisan attempt to discredit the Attorney General.
The letter also raises an ominous flag.
The harshness of the attacks themselves is misplaced, and to the extent these attacks are intended to divert the Attorney General from the vigorous enforcement of the nation's lawsincluding those protecting civil rights, voting rights, disability rights, and other core concernswe are deeply troubled, the coalition writes. In other words, investigating Holder is not just anti-civil rights, that's the intent behind it.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
“They” were afraid not to indict George Zimmerman for fear of riots. obama is planning on the people being afraid not to re-elect him for fear of a race war.
Just think what these robots would do if they had a real Black president! The failed presidency of Obama guarantees that there won’t be one of those for a long, long time after he leaves office.
Color trumps moral compass.
Just like the Soviet union.
Feed the preachers at approved churches the talking points they want preached.
Just how is this not illegal???
“White pastors can come along for the ride, but they’re gonna have to sit in the back of the bus.”
They are losing the Black Vote, and are trying to shore-up that base, which should have been a "no-brainer" lock. (Did you catch that hysterically funny dual entendré? LMAO!!)
O'Bunghole is such a phenomenal loser douchebag that he's losing the Black Vote, and the Rats are scurrying before their ship sinks beneath the ever-more-turbulent waves. Get yer popcorn.
Wait till one of those churches steps out of line and finds themselves on an IRS deep rectal exam.
If we are real lucky that will have to wait until sometime in 2013. But it just might serve as a caution to the attendees.
I just wonder how Holder and friends are going to discuss abortion with those ministers?
Predictable yes, reliable? Maybe not so much. Remember that when you encourage people to be evasive about rules and laws the first thing that goes through their heads is, “What if I get caught, and this *isn’t* legal?”
Thus, a subtle Republican effort could go out to particular pastors, known to be gossips, that Holder is willing to sacrifice them for “the cause”, figuring that only some will go to prison, most will be fined a LOT of money, but it will be after the election, so they have no problem “throwing them under the bus”.
That these pastors are being played as patsies.
A lot of these pastors are scoundrels, grifters and con artists themselves, so are very aware about being double crossed, and with the slightest hint they could get shafted, they will be out of there.
“Color trumps moral compass.”
More like tribal self-identity trumps all.
When did we get to the point in this country where only someone of your race or group can adequately represent your interests?
Oh, I long to return to the day when we all considered ourselves Americans first and foremost...
As far as I’m concerned, tax all or tax none regardless of political speech. To restrict their speech through taxation is itself unconstitutional.
After all, the American revolution was born out of political speech in the pulpit and to believe that our founders intended to silence them is to be a fool.
This smells. Are they afraid that black pastors, who never get prosecuted for political activism, need to be intimidated back into line or are they laying groundwork for a prosecution of the Mormon Church?

No problem with separation of church & state now, when the liberal, fake Christian black pastors are working hand in hand with the 0dumb0 administration. Where is the ACLU now, in all their feigned outrage over church-state separation?
Secondly, there is not a single one of these black so-called pastors, that I would characterize as genuine, born again Christians. They are false teachers, racists, purveyors of the anti-Christ, and are leading millions of their ignorant followers straight into Hell.
All together now...
SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!
Isn’t that what we have always been hearing from the left? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Did you see the black mayor of Newark, being described as a possible presidential candidate in the future? Yeah sure.
