Did Trump recently state that Obama was "born in Kenya and raised in Idonesia" ?
SAN DIEGO (AP) Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney isn't taking a position on supporter Donald Trump's return to the controversy over where President Barack Obama was born.
Romney said Monday evening that while he doesn't agree with all the people who support him, he appreciates their help to get him at least 50.1 percent of the vote in November.
Romney's comments come about 24 hours before appearing at fundraiser in Las Vegas that Trump is hosting.
Earlier this week Trump again stated that Obama was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia. That view has been debunked repeatedly. Obama released his long-form birth certificate in April 2011 showing he was born in Hawaii while Trump weighed entering the Republican primary race.

Actually, Romney responded to the Trump comments yesterday, in a thread posted here, and basically repudiated what Trump said. Romney said that Obama was born in Hawaii.
Now the media is lying about what Romney said. Obama has evidently instructed them to demand that Romney should throw Trump under the bus and not allow him to campaign for him.

It turns out the “long form” is a fake — even Hawaii says so. Arpaio has done more in a few months than the MSM has done in 4 years on this issue.
Whatchyoutalkin’about, Willis? The media fifth column gas been covering for their little barry bastard commie for four years, at least. They have been hard at work ...
This story is currently getting 48,000 hits on Google with wide distribution. Editors are allowing it in lots of print media. No mention of Arpaio’s forgery finding but the audience's attention will be building in the lead-up to the next Arpaio presser.

Let Zer0 release the Truth.
I don’t know where BHO was really born, but I accept that the state of Hawaii has issued official documents relating to his birth. I also know that at the time, a child could actually have been born elsewhere and his parents could apply to have Hawaii documentation for that birth.
What matters more to me is not exactly where he was born, but that because his father was not a citizen at the time of his birth, he was NOT “natural born”, and thus ineligible to hold the office of president.
The issue of his birth is made only worse by the long line of other personal documents that have been hidden from the public such has his Selective Service records, his immigration records upon his return from Indonesia, his college transcripts, the records relating to his service in the Illinois legislature, etc.
BHO smells like a person actively working to hide his real past and working on sustaining a false persona.

I disagree. What Romney said did not “repudiate” Trump. Not even close, IMO. Romney only expressed a polite disagreement between friends.
If you live in the Dem/Obama fantasy world, work as a reporter for the press like AP, or are a Repub with a jellyfish spine, than it "has been debunk repeatedly."

What is there to “repudiate”? We have a Kenyan-born Muslim communist in the White House. All of that is verifiable. NONE of it can be proven wrong!
O-ZERO is the most far-left “president” in American history. He is a follower of the Leninist school of thought and is trying to turn the USA into a new USSR. Trump is, if anything, pulling his punches.
I would expect Romney to distance himself from controversy and send an attack dog (Trump) to stir up a situation. When things get uncomfortable, he will throw Trump under the bus. It’s his m.o. and sadly part of politics.
I don’t believe for one red hot second that Myth didn’t know what Trump would say. And, conversely, I don’t think Trump is an unwilling hand maiden.
It’s all part of the show. But, of course, I am a huge cynic. ;)
“working on sustaining a false persona”
Hence, his “autobiographies”.
I think the focus on the birth certificate is minor (well, a piece of the puzzle). The focus should be on his selective service registration, his claims to be a foreign student for purposes of college, and (this is where the birth certificate comes in) if he was born in Hawaii, how does he get a social security number from Connecticut, considering he has never lived in the state?
The people who will be turned off by this are the libs, so it’s a “wash”.
You can practically hear the sweat popping out of their foreheads as they pound that crap into the keyboards because they know damn well it has NOT been debunked.
They also wake up every single day knowing that this could be the day when something breaks loose that will be too big for them to ignore, too inconvertible for them to spin, and too utterly damning for them to deny.
I am firmly convinced that it WILL happen. And I have a bottle of Moet on ice waiting for that happy day.
Expect Trump to get a nice ambassadorship under President Romney?
Hey, Obama’s got all the Big Leftist Media shills propping him up, let Romney use surrogates, too. Best part is, Trump IS getting under their skin - or we wouldn’t be seeing articles like this!
Im guessing Trump based his quote on Obama’s own publicist’s statement, because that is what Obama’s own release said.
Nah, Trump is too abrasive to be an ambassador.
I’m sure there is something in it for him, though. Maybe nothing more than attention.
But I agree, I think it is getting people annoyed...and that’s a good thing. Trump just doesn’t need to go to some banquet and receive pot shots...he doesn’t handle it well. (I think that event has already happened this year, so it may be a moot point.)
