Is that even legal to accept pesos for payment? Wouldn’t they have to have some kind of banking/currency exchange license to do that?

They've been accepting pesos for years. Their pizza sucks, btw. But it is ready “right now” just like Little Cesar's.

As a form of protest, why don’t we gringos learn how to order a pizza in Spanish and order one on the promo day? Hit the company where it counts!

I really don’t have a problem with this, so long as the converse is also acceptable.

I think it's discrimination." As long as they're a private company, I don't care.
I hope that ALL their customers speak Spanish and get a free pizza.

I’m not offended by any of this. They have selected a market niche and are appealing to that niche. There are hundreds of other pizza chains that cater to the English-speaking market so why be upset with one that wishes to cater to a Spanish-speaking market?
I realize that if an English-speaking chain pandered to English speakers like this that there would be protests and charges of discrimination but that isn’t the business’ fault - it’s the fault of leftist rabble-rousers.

Nice cheap way to get a lot of publicity. If it was my shop I’d give ‘em away free if you ordered in Latin. Make ‘em work for their free slice.

I don’t see the issue. This is a business decision to target a segment of the market.
When the government mandates that companies conduct business in any particular language, etc. then I will care.

Just start a rumor that ICE has tapped into the pizza place’s phone lines to help track down illegal immigrants. Problem solved.

The only other language you should hear in a pizza place is ITALIAN!
Can I go in to a Chipotle, and ask: “Vorrei ordinare un burrito di pollo”??
