I brought my broken dreams to God because he was my friend

But instead of leaving him in peace to work alone
I hung around and tried to help with ways that were my own

At last I snatched them and cried, "How could you be so slow?"

One Sunday, after hearing a sermon about how the children of Israel left Egypt and wandered in the desert for 40 years, Johnny's mom asked him if he remembered what the pastor had talked about in the sermon.

"Sure," said Johnny, "He talked about the children of Israel and everything they did. What I want to know is what all the grownups were doing all the this time?"

No snow in Alaska?

Rain and rain showers here all week.

Just finished raining now.

No snow at my house. Still a few houses on my street where the huge piles haven’t completely melted. Most folks get out and break up the piles so they can get started on their lawns.

No rain either...it would be nice to help settle all the spring dust.

All your winter toys put away?

Summer might be short this year, so getting started on their lawns and gardens would be ideal.

Yep, all tractors are in/by the barn.

Thank you, Kathy. I’m taking one day at a time, and letting ‘Him’ unfold the moments of my life. Patience is not a virtue of mine, though. LOL
