A woman returned from church and surprised and surprised and intruder robbing her home.
She yelled Acts 2:38, which means "Repent and be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins may be forgiven!"
The burglar stopped in his tracks, and surrendered.
The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done.
As the officer was cuffing the burglar, he asked him, "Why did you just stand there when all the lady did was yell a Scripture at you?
"Scripture?!"replied the burglar, "She said she had an Axe and two 38's!!"
LOL
Kathy, your “Let Go and Let God” reminded me of this poem:
A young, new preacher was walking with an older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day and feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was inquiring of the older preacher. The older preacher walked up to a rosebush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals.
The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the WILL OF GOD for his life and for his ministry. Because of his high respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to TRY to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact It wasnt long before he realized how it was impossible to do so.
Noticing the younger preachers inability to unfold the rosebud while keeping it intact, the older preacher began to tell the following poem
It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of GODs design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
When in my hands they fade and die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of GODs design,
Then how can I think I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So Ill trust in Him for His leading
Each moment of every day.
I will look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.
The pathway that lies before me,
Only my heavenly Father knows.
Ill trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Beautiful story and poem, yorkie.
Sometimes we forget that God has unique plans for our lives and we must be brought down to recognize His handiwork.
Praise The Lord!
