You wouldn't. I wouldn't. But there are FANATICAL Obama supporters out there who would take a bullet for the man. I don't get it. I never claimed to get it, and I likely never will get it; but they do exist.
I know its sad but if someone disagrees with Obama during this election cycle there is a good chance the extreme left i.e. Sharpton and his goons will call them racists to incite violence.
If I recall correctly, it was not necessary to have a passport to enter countries where we had a SOFA. You just showed your military ID when entering and leaving. And US passport control also accepted the military ID.
It is sad. Was listening to local talk radio yesterday, after this broke on Drudge, and was deeply saddened by the situation where some of the callers were unwilling to have a civil conversation. The callers (some of them) were making comments which made one know the situation is dire for our nation, if vetting moves forward. Some people simply will refuse anything which vets this man, Obama. I have called Obama (zer0) for two plus years. Thus I share your concern, and recognize and realize where you are coming from. For the most part, have stayed away from birther threads. Vetting a person though is an entirely different matter. The media is refusing to vet this man. Vetting should and must be done for the good of keeping America great (imho). Fear must be cast aside for the good of our nation (imho). Am Not looking for a fight. As was eluded to (in your post) there are people out there looking for a fight (supporting Obama). It is saddening the truth is not being sought by those seeking a fight instead of a civil conversation to understand who this man Obama is.
If someone went to court in support of the right to own slaves, would you consider that to be a viable challenge even though the Constitution is quite clear on that issue? Or is it settled law that it is against the law to own slaves?
Of course it’s a viable challenge! The nature of the Constitution is that it can be amended and those amendments can be challenged in the courts for Constitutionality. There is no such thing as settled law. Otherwise, lawyers would not have a job!
Exactly right. At this point in time, it's ALL about the cover-up. And obama himself smuggly and arrogantly waived that forged birth certificate in our faces for all to see. Besides, what 50 year old American doesn't have a copy of their birth certificate safely tucked away for easy access. It's all B.S. Only the gullible would believe it.
Right, I dont care about the birther issue either he was already elected once and can be elected again. What I care about is what this man believed before he was running for president. Sure he proclaims he was converted from Islam but I think that was just a political move to get elected. He knew that a muslim would not stand a chance at getting elected. This isn’t 2004. The voters are tired of birther and Jeremiah Wright stories. These are just the kind of distractions obama wants so he can avoid talking about the economy.
Some cases have been on the books for long enough without any substantial challenge rising up against them as to be settled, however controversial they were at the time. Obvious examples would be Brown v. Board of Education (school desegregation) and Marbury v. Madison (establishing the right of the courts to strike down laws as “unconstitutional”).
There has never been a supreme court case involving the definition of natural born citizen as it applies to eligibility to be President under the Constitution. It is far from being settled law.

Since the media will not vet this man, and ask him the difficult questions, someone else has to do it via other media. One difficult question (needs asking) is an explanation of the association with Bill Ayers and the Ayers family. Another question (closed by executive order) is the application for education in institutions of higher learning filed by Obama. Was Obama listed as a foreign student? There are many others. Brokaw (if remembering correctly) stated on the elevation of Obama to the nominee something of the sort that America and we, in the media, do not know who this man is. Now one has to ask another question ... because the main media has the resources to investigate ... why did they refuse to tell the American people the Obama background. If it was fear? ... Americans need to know who or what groups of whom was making threats. IF threats were made and is confirmable ... why were there no prosecutions? Am reading and sensing there is fear out there. If for no other reason than one is taking on the most powerful man in the world is the reason for fear by our media, what does this say about our media at the time Nixon was brought down by our media? There can be fear and then there can be petrification. Our media may not simply have fear, this time, they may have petrification. Stone or stonewalling is not a desirable trait in our media. (imho).

Speaking hypothetically, if Obama is a product of "The Finders" program that was run by the CIA, then it begs the question: Who does the CIA work for?
