I believe too many FREEPERS fail to see the BIG picture...and God's perspective because of their own sense of due judgment (forgetting that save God's GRACE...they would also be due judgment).
What would have MORE impact? A DEAD Chavez burning in hell...or a live, fully repentant, Chavez who has come to genuine Faith in Christ for his salvation?
What would be better...Obama the way he is...cursed...suffering due to some malady as some are praying for...or an Obama that is genuinely saved...who is now AGAINST gay marriage and abortion because he has repented?
The first just satisfies my sense of justice. The second fulfills GOD'S desires where he says He would than none would perish but that ALL would repent (2 Peter 3:9). The first accomplishes NOTHING but darkens my soul to the grace of God. The second saves a soul (which is why Christ came) and is a powerful testimony to all.
So, no, I will pray that Chavez AND Obama will be saved...and use their positions to spread the Gospel. Is that likely? My humanity says "No"...but through God all things are possible. The benefits of the second outweigh those of the first regarding the Kingdom of God. Come November I will vote against O...and continue to pray that Romney will be saved. The early church knew: Better a saved Claudius...than replace Claudius with Nero.

Vander - these socialists have a long history of lining innocents up against the wall and putting a bullet into their brain. He has terminal cancer. he has time to make amends and peace with the Lord. Other than that, I feel no shame nor remorse in celebrating the removal of evil from a position of power.
In the larger perspective, innocents will be saved with his removal. I’m not saying Hugo shot innocents. But hundreds of thousands of them suffer under what he has done.
Regrettably, b@$t@rd$ like Chavez tend to live long lives. Prayers up for his awakening and correcting some of the evil he has wrought before his death.
2/15/2013. We don’t even know the type of cancer. It could be the one that just develops large random abdominal tumors, again and again. He could have another year or two. I hope he lives long enough to see the last day in office of his socialist buddy.
If he asks for forgiveness and ends up in Heaven, then he is better off there then on earth. If not, then he can go to Hell on July 15.
