Barack Obama launched his campaign in unspectacular fashion today at Ohio State University, the largest college in the crucial swing state. A photo posted to twitter by Mitt Romney's campaign spokesman Ryan Williams reveals that the event was poorly attended. The above image, according to Williams, was taken during the President's first official campaign speech.

Øbama is well hated
+1
Likable isn’t what comes to my mind when contemplating the Obamas either.
He will get fewer braindamaged republican votes than in 2008, and republicans are a greater percentage now than then, so that will work against him cf to 2008.
The "youts" will be less in the tank, just because you can't ever do the same thing twice, and the idiot children who voted for him in 2008 have now come face to face with grim reality, which is that obama just can't cut the mustard for them.
The new generation of 'youts' has less reason than their predecessors to vote for obama--no backlog of Bush hatred, no romance about "the first black Preezy;" no good job prospects, no exciting bullshit about "hope'n'change." No war to be against. IE, no reason to bother, so turnout will suffer. Works against obama cf to 2008.
Romney is not McCain. If the senile McCain had run a good campaign--not a perfect campaign, just a good solid competent campaign, he would have won and Obama would be the asterisk he deserves to be.
Romney is no Reagan, not very conservative, not very charismatic; I compare Romney to Nixon with a better shave and somewhat better personality. But Nixon won--twice--despite those challenges, by being a serious candidate who recognized essential issues and stayed focussed on them. Romney can do the same if he's smart. I assess him as being very smart, a lot smarter than McCain, and with a far better organization.
He has a Superpac who can deliver the goods on any candidate, and we have to believe will do the number on the Usurper, a large slow-moving target, in reality.
A few percentage points on polls right now mean little or nothing. If Romney runs a good solid campaign and keeps the heat on the Obama record, he will win in November. We better hope he does, like him or don't.
Hussein, old chap:
“Ooh...that smell..can’t you smell that smell...?”
Sorry for the sidebar, but this is the third time I’ve seen the word “Tumblr” today as if we are all supposed to know what the heck if is. I presume it’s a new Facebook or Twitter or some such, probably owned by Google or some other commielib media giant.
Can I assume we will soon see Mumblr, Fumblr and Stumblr to go with it?
Maybe they will have women fainting like four years ago or perhaps they shouldn’t do that because it might be revealed they were fainting because they’re starving for not having had a job in three years.
And THAT was an eye-opener. Moochelle, with a clue. . .(evil grin)
I like your “dispassionate” assessment. One gets tired of all the foot-stomping spoiled children that burden this forum.
...which is the only reason they didn’t invite Obambi, since EVERYONE now knows he hasn’t a clue.
As far as the empty arena goes..it will never make the mainstream news.
And the "cheating" you're probably referring to at OSU was athletes selling their own possessions, mainly little key rings with U of M colored pants the players receive if they beat the Wolverines in football, for free tattoos. Their coach got fired for not reporting that major scandal to the NCAA.
So in light of all that, would you please be so kind as to bend over and perform a physically impossible act on yourself? Thank you.
Team Obama's in luck - they're DEMOCRATS - - the MSM will pretend they didn't notice the place was half empty.
Excuse ME. And that is more important than the empty stadium of Obama worshipers. Get your priorities straight my man.
Are you going to post the picture, or shall we just use our imaginations?
Never mind. FreeDumb posted it for you.
His slogan is ‘ready to go’? How funny, yes, we certainly are ready for him to go!
As in say bye and leave the white house in 2013.
The other half are the ones who don’t realize the economy isn’t any better now than in 2010, when he extended the Bush tax cuts for the rich because the economy wasn’t getting any better.
Thank you.
