A 90-year-old man who was attacked in his home in March along with his 85-year-old wife died Friday morning, Tulsa police said.
Bob and Nancy Strait were attacked in the 3300 block of East Virgin Street late March 13 or early the next day, police said.
Bob Strait died in Coweta about 11 a.m., Officer Jason Willingham said.
The Medical Examiner's Office will determine whether the death is a result of the injuries he sustained in the attack, Willingham said.
If so, Tyrone Dale David Woodfork, 20, who was arrested March 15 in the attack, will be charged with an additional count of first-degree murder, Willingham said.
Woodfork is already charged with killing Nancy Strait, who died about 7:30 p.m. March 15.

The surviving victim from last weeks brutal home invasion and beating is out of the hospital.
90-year-old Bob Strait is home with family members.
He suffered serious injuries during the incident, but his wife Nancy died.
Family members say Bob Strait is recovering physically, but emotionally his wounds are deep and he says he never wants to go back to the home he and his wife shared for more than 40 years.
"When I was holding his hand you could tell he was shaking on the inside, he was scared and when we asked him yesterday if he was ready to go home, he thought he was going home," said Strait's daughter, Lanora.
The couple was ambushed and robbed last week in their north Tulsa home.
Police have one suspect in custody, 21 year old Tyrone Woodfork, he's facing 1st degree murder charges among others.
The result of the attack left Bob Strait with a broken jaw, internal bleeding and bb gun wounds. His wife Nancy didn't survive her injuries.
"After he found out she was gone, we brought her in to him, and turned her to where he couldn't see her bad side and he held her hand for quite awhile and all he could say was I loved that old woman, I loved that old woman for so long," said Lanora.
The couple had been married for more than 65 years and Lanora doesn't know if her dad will be able to survive much longer without his soul mate.

My mom and dad were married for 58 years. Mom died in May of 2002. Dad died 9 months later, So true!

Vendome’s version of a just and proper punishment:
I would chain his hands and legs, then pull him up four flights of metal fire escape stairs, feet first.
Then I would kicked him in the family jewels just enough to cause a stomach ache every 15 minutes for 8 hours.
After that I would push him out a window letting him fall four stories into a pile of razor wire 5 rolls high and 5 rolls wide.
He could lay in the pile of razor wire for two days in the desert sun and then I would release a flock of crows and 1 gallon of scarabs right next to him.
But that’s just me.
How fortunate your parents (and mine) had a full life and normal passing. The Straits were not so blessed at the end, in just a horrific, tragic crime.
As I watch what is going on in this country, I also thank God my folks didn’t live to see it, am sorry I have, and feel so sorry for my kids and (eventual) grandkids. We can only pray the pendulum swings.

Oh my. That is so incredibly sad. Imagine how he felt when he couldn’t protect his wife from those animals. Hanging is too good for them.
This story hits very close to home for me. My elderly parents lived less than a mile from the Straits. Did they know Bob and Nancy? I don’t know. But my parents did move to an assisted living facility about 5 years ago.
The Straits? Earlier reports indicate they were going to move to a nursing home too. But they never made it. They missed it by ONE DAY. This brutal attack happened the day before they were scheduled to move.
RIP to a true hero. He was Air Borne in WWII. At least he probably didn’t know what these animals had done to his wife.
