Thanks Lazlo - you prove the old truism that your best friend is your enemy!

I’d wave the Newt flag, but yeah, that is a bit tattered now ....

You attacked a poster who I respect.

Back up there - my little TBL friend.

I didn’t attack Lazlo. It was mscs or whatever her screen name is.

Not sure why you and Lazlo both got off with wrong replies, but that happens when you troll two forums at once.

lololol

To: Jim Robinson; everyone

One thing I’d like to see on FR, as we look to 2016, is a general consensus on the ONE candidate FR is maybe officially supporting.

Not to ban supporters of any other candidates, but, as a site, to support one.

The problem as I see it, in the past two primary seasons at least, is that the conservatives have been split over several (flawed, human) candidates and even potential candidates - and the moderate emerges as a winner.

If we don’t generally coalesce around ONE candidate early on, we will repeat ourselves. Let’s learn from history rather than repeat it.

“guess I could vote for Ron Paul-—he looks better when he’s compared to O and R.......”

Paul didn’t laud Bradley Manning as a patriot. At least Romney is a serious American.

That aspect will be clearly in play as well. Noticing on threads those who are supportive of that element, and that agenda ,though oftentimes discretely so or surrounding their post with other flavorable wordage, as is the custom, yet it does bleed thru.

Romney winning will definately enhance that nationwide...no two ways about it...and we can expect a host of propaganda about it flooding the inter net and the airways. They are prepared to do so.

It’s another front on this war, fought behind the scenes for the most part....should he win it will come front and center for them...and we’ll be certain to see that as so.

“...I will not vote for Obama or Romney...”

I’m not telling you how to vote or who to vote for, friend. Wouldn’t presume to do so, and it’s kind of not anyone’s place to do so to other people.

I’m just looking for ways to start replacing “the establishment GOP” that keep giving us the lesse ro ftwo evils choice, and trying to understand how to do it.

Seems to me this is the place to figure it out. Lot of good solid minds out here.

"Therefore I hereby propose a general truce among our conservative forces!!"

I agree, excepting that I'll continue to argue against people who believe Romney is acceptable. I will not be forced onto a cattle car by anyone. RomneyCare is the pure assumption of all power to the state from the individual. I will not bow down.

Otherwise, I'm all on board the Conservative Tea Party wagon!

And exposing RINOs is the first step in replacing RINOs...

Good idea.

Nothing false about it! In the end you will have either Romney or Obozo! That is a FACT and YOU know it!

"I’ll vote Romney no matter what. Obama MUST lose."

I understand 'the lesser of two evils' inclination. Some of you can do that. I can't.

To me, the Presidential Race comes down to the relative light reflectivity of your jailer / executioner.

“. I will vote for Romney to get rid of Obama,”

Exactly, I view my vote for Romney as a vote against Obama.

In the primary I intend to vote Virgil Goode. I’d truly prefer him as president as much as I know about him.
