This photo is making the rounds:
This is part or the whole of an extensive stash of bottles recovered in the 010th District the other day.
All filled with human waste and no doubt whatever extra fecal matter the ne'er-do-wells were able to pick up on the parkways.
Counts range from 100 to 500 bottles recovered depending on the rumor you believe.
We're sure this isn't the only stash floating around out there.
How about the Department try something novel and get the media to cover what the protestors and anarchists are planning and maybe get the public overwhelmingly on our side?

BTW, this blogging cop and most of his commenters are strong 2nd Amendment advocates and have a deep personal understanding of how the destruction of 2A in Chicago has made it very unsafe for themselves and the citizens.
As the influence of the Miner's Union has waned over the past two decades,
what was once a rather heavily southern democrat area has turned increasingly to the right.
There's always been an almost universal antipathy toward Chicago,
and the escalating CF in the city only reinforces that intrastate friction.
During the Civil War, there was way more than a little Confederate sympathy down there, some of my greats among them.
Much of that attitude remains to this day, and is fed by the increasing anarchy within the northern ghetto entitlement crowd.
Add in the state's veritable gutting of the 2nd Amendment and your Marion friends' gulag feeling is totally understandable.
Hmmm... bombing bridges, biological warfare... I think it’s time we started taking these wacky kids out behind the woodshed and shooting some of them.
That stuff could definitely cause lead poisoning!
Obviously; a taste test is needed!
No; THIS one tastes more like Dr. Pooper.
They do?
Then why are the prisons still so crowded?
We seem to be headed inexorably in that direction
Because it’s against the law to take them out and beat the living carp out of them. Gotta treat ‘em with kid gloves these days, don’cha know.
The anarchists are building up their stockpiles for the NATO summit later this month. I bet that there are more stashes like that in the Chicago area.
Good gosh.
This is going to be a long, nasty summer.
The main page at SCC has several items posted re the coming NATO CF, along with hundreds of comments.
I won't make a separate thread for it, but this one was posted yesterday,
followed by 200+ comments w/ suggestions for cops & citizens re personal riot gear to take along :
The MSM isn’t interested... now if the Tea Party tried this - it’d be on the front page of every paper in the country...

Hey there! How are you?
Thanks for posting this - I hadn’t heard a word about it. Good thing I wasn’t planning on going to Chicago any time soon. ;-)
Am only halfway thru the comments on the NATO Countdown page, but so far this is my favorite:

You must keep yourself safe
- 300 rounds of extra ammo
- knife
- back-up pistol (same caliber - so you can use same ammo)
- water
- second pair of socks
- long flashlight (doubles as a club)
- big can of hornet spray (poor man's mace alternative)
- attitude
Good luck.

I hope all the good folks stay safe, and more than a few of the communist filth leave the scene in body bags.
Seriously.
I have actually been thinking I should start driving to work instead of riding the commuter bus. I do not want to get caught downtown needing to get out and no means of transpo.
I can’t even believe I’m thinking such things. The world is upside down.
And I *must* get my carry permit! I need to take the class - that’s all I need to file the paperwork..... Finding time is like trying to find BO’s real birth certificate.
'Upside down' is right, ma'am.
Here's at least one FReeper who hopes you'll make the time for that class/permit.
Your thinking is also sound re driving, imho.
