Dan Savage has personally insulted virtually every Republican candidate for higher office. Last year, Savage said on Bill Maher’s show, “I wish the Republicans were all f***ing dead.”
But he saved some special vitriol for Herman Cain. When Cain stated that he thought that homosexual activity was a choice in October 2011, Savage responded by telling Cain to “show us how a man can choose to be gay. (Excerpted for foul content, see link to read article)

I think sometimes we get desensitized to exactly how ugly and nasty the left is. If you want to know why young people are less Republican it is partially because of this. They were technically 'born yesterday' and most have been raised seeing Republican and conservative alike being ridiculed, called hate mongers, etc on a regular basis. Even as a child I had a narrow view of Reagan till I took the time to actually consider his greatness.
So when you hear people wanting you to shut up and just focus on the economy or some such silliness as if everything else is inconsequential remember that as long as people do not realize exactly how ugly, how obscene, how nasty, and repugnant the ideas of the left are we will be be at a critical disadvantage.
I don't know how many times I've heard so called conservative intellectuals go on about how it is conservatives who are always in an uproar about something as if the left is not the aggressor and the radical. The way you turn the tide is that you stop supporting the double standard. We can not rely on leftist journalists to defend us or be fair. Patriots make their own fairness. We must stand united and in one voice against the darkness and not be intimidated into silence. When the left screams we must make our voices louder, when the left intimidates we must push back harder, and more importantly we must take the offense calling them out for their hate and radicalism and make sure everyone especially the young see if for what it is.
And then Dems will turn around and bemoan the lack of civility and tolerance.

There was a big recent editorial in the WaPost that essentially did exactly that, and blamed all the rancor in Congress on Gingrich and conservative Republicans. When RINOs continually compromise towards more socialism, Dems are OK with it. Actually roll back some government, and you’re the devil.
Sounds to me like SOMEone’s desperate for attention.

The radical left has turned politicized homosexuals in their cultural vanguard to overthrow the government of the United States, smash Christianity, destroy the family unit, and bring about a totalitarian government. People like Dan Savanage are a prime example of what they have achieved. He doesn’t even know what a pawn he is — and is so over the top, that the Marxists who engineered this phenomenon and wondering if perhaps they made a mistake.
It’s time we understood this about the left.

It is because the kind of hatred they harbor is corrosive to the soul and mind. Eventually it eats them up and destroys them. I’m wondering how much of the hate the left expresses towards others (conservatives) is born of self-hatred? Is that what really makes them such nasty and miserable people? It is an unscientific observation I am making, I will admit, but in going on 60+ years on this Earth, I have to say that the most unhappy, miserable, hateful, and sometimes violent people I have ever encountered have been liberals/leftists. The most content, happy, giving, tolerant, peaceful people? Conservative persons of faith.

It hasn't. It is just wishful thinking and projection on the part of this pervert and his cadre of worshippers over at Gawker. "Saddlebacking" was a Googlebombing attempt that fizzled out, just like the "Santorum" Googlebomb did earlier this year.
Goes to show you that Libtards are as intectually starved as thier Islamic cousins. If they got their wish, and every Conservative and/or Infidel fell over dead - they would be back in the stone ages and starving to death within a matter of weeks.
There would be no one left to do the work required to keep the cities running, no one to grow or process food, no one to provide electrical power. Those who work, earn their money through the sweat of their brow - and are overwhelmingly conservative.
On the other hand, if the Libtards would all drop dead - the Conservatives would have a hay-day. Imagine, 95% of our prisons empty, welfare recipients down to about 5% of what they are now, our taxes would drop and our productivity would skyrocket.
If the Islamics would all drop off the planet - peace would break out, people living in fear and domination would suddenly be able to pursue their dreams. Poor countries would become self-sustaining and prosperous in a matter of years.

I'll omit the rest of the quote for the purposes of maintaining the dignity of the site. Herman really touched a nerve there, didn't he? Dan Savage is easily outraged but this is THE sacred cow of the radical gay rights movement. The idea that gays are born that way, that it is wired into them at birth and is thus not a choice but rather a fact no different than, say, skin color, is the core of their argument that being in any way judgmental of them is tantamount to racism or worse. That forms the basis of everything else, first normalize it then silence critics with accusations of intolerance and bigotry. And it's worked very well.
Of course, the counter to this is pedophilia. Is that hard wired or is it something people choose? Personally, I think it is hardwired, I think pedophiles are not right in the head and can't be rehabilitated, as the statistics on recidivism attest. So in that case is it wrong to judge them, am I worse than a racist if I do? Hell no!
"But wait" I hear you say, "if we can make a moral judgement about pedophiles even though they didn't choose that drive, why is homosexuality off limits?" The gays are fortunate indeed that nobody ever makes that argument, because if they did they would have to either defend pedophilia (yikes!) or in some way undermine their sacred cow by accepting that in some circumstances people can judge others. Neither line of thought is a good one to defend, the first is universally considere morally repugnant, but the second undermines their core belief system. Awkward! Like I said, lucky for them that nobody ever asks them about it.
That’s right. It isn’t just this digusting Dan Savage. Every activist Dem wishes that Republicans were “all f_____ng dead.” They don’t want opposition. They want to remake the world in their image and won’t tolerate anyone who disagrees. Savage simply said what they all think. Any wonder coutries slide into dicatorship? You get a group of control freaks like this and the majority of the population isn’t bothered enough with them to oppose them.
