Romney boasts that his anti-liberty government forced compulsory health insurance plan is "conservative." And he says "all of my positions are conservative." That would be forced/mandated compulsory health insurance (google Reagan on compulsory health insurance for the truth), homosexuals in the military, gun control, liberal judges, TARP, bailouts, too big to fail, the government takeover of GM, stimulus spending, global warming, planned parenthood, abortion, Roe v Wade, homosexual marriage, etc, etc, etc, all of which he has supported or still does.
Conservative my foot. I guess lying is conservative too?
Romney is a total fraud!!
Unfortunately, in the unlikely event Romney should get the presidency, he will become the head of the Republican party and will therefore put those individuals of like minds in key positions. Just going by his past history pertaining to his conduct in and out of office, it will take decades, if ever, for the conservative movement to once again gain the foothold and the power that it now has. Among vast number of conservative Republicans (I use that term advisedly.... now) there will be such a "wailing and gnashing of teeth" lamenting how could this have happened to us and this great country of ours? My retort will be...... look in the mirror! The "Republican Establishment" is playing a successful game of rope-a-dope.
As for myself, I'll no longer vote for the lesser of two evils because evil is still evil no matter how much lipstick you put on it. My word, I've gone down the voting list from Sarah Palin to Newt and I'm going no further. I'll not vote for someone who should actually be running on the Democrat ticket as a moderate Democrat. That's how we got into this mess ............... Let'r rip!
I haven’t given up on a brokered convention yet. The best thing to do is concentrate on the down-ballot races.
“Now those who want to attack me for simply speaking the truth or want to accuse me of wanting the Marxist reelected, have at it. Then leave. Go join your favorite RINO anti-freeper site.”
I’m saving your above statement to use when the Romney lovers jump on Freepers for not voting for Romney.
Be interesting to see if this thread gets the Romney lovers on it to dump on you.
Thank you Jim...
Romney...huh?
>
JMO, but I don't think there are any Romney "lovers" here.
I think there are a lot of people struggling with a a very difficult situation.
We have never had to face a marxist traitor in office with the likes of Romney as a choice to defeat him.
Petty messed up if'n you ask me.
WOW
I love a man in uniform...
a US military uniform...
:)
NOTHING about you is CONSERVATIVE Mittens... NOTHING!
BOY!.. is America going to be surprised with what they got when they elect this jackwagon..
The worst thing?
My danged boating accident...
Another thing that will happen is the DemocRATs will have their poster boy to blame the economy on. Minutes after the inauguration, the organizer of the day's events (Chuck U. Schumer) will run to the microphone and announce "It's Romney's economy now!"
Then, ever nosedive that occurs will be blamed on Romney and the GOP. In 2016, the DemocRATs will come roaring back with the message "We TOLD YOU SO!"
Hmmm. Who would be a good candidate to run against Romney? How about Obama?
“JMO, but I don’t think there are any Romney “lovers” here.”
Had a war of words with one couple of days ago and he’s still here. Some Freepers start rationalizing and come up with goody things to say about Romney in order to vote for him. Not going to respond to these people again. Just as Jim said, they need to go elsewhere.
Once Mitt is elected, these positions on issues will become the official Republican Party positions.
I can’t vote for that.
I loath Romney.
The danger is in conservatives not getting out and voting the down ticket races. Better Obama in the white house with a solidly conservative Senate and House than Romney with even one house Democratic.
Don’t know what Romney actually envisioned for his Health Care plan, but whatever it was, it has been larded up with ‘benefits’ put there by the Democrats in the MA legislature. It has become more expensive every year, and we don’t have the choice to forego Prescription Drug Coverage, like we did in the first year. Just that ‘bennie’ alone added $2K/yr. to each of our policies, and we didn’t even WANT it!
Agreed, but a hop roll bet is better then a for sure crap out. (Hope you're familar with dice, or craps)
