Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) took to the Senate floor today to draw attention to a video of a top EPA official saying the EPAs philosophy is to crucify and make examples of oil and gas companies - just as the Romans crucified random citizens in areas they conquered to ensure obedience.
Inhofe quoted a little-watched video from 2010 of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official, Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz, admitting that EPAs general philosophy is to crucify and make examples of oil and gas companies.
In the video, Administrator Armendariz says:
I was in a meeting once and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting, but Ill go ahead and tell you what I said:
It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean. Theyd go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, theyd find the first five guys they saw and theyd crucify them.
Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years.

And that folks is Democrat Party government by the people for the people
Let’s hem in meddling agencies, they are supposed to be our servants not our bosses
These agencies are going to have to be totally disbanded for at least 10 years in order to flush out the Marxists that are attracted to positions of unaccountable power like flies to horse manure.
Just hemming them in doesn’t get rid of the problem.
You are probably right.
EPA Official’s ‘Philosophy’ On Oil Companies: ‘Crucify Them’ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The oil companies haven’t even hit a bump in the road, they simply moved a lot of their exploration head offices off shore, and coined the profits caused by demand, while the governments at the State and National levels continue to gouge Americans with fuel taxes which are regressive and unconscionable.
In short the EPA is not crucifying oil companies, they are crucifying the citizens of the United States.
And those citizens will soon crucify the EPA and all the a$$hat greenie Utopian liberal fascists who still refuse to ride horses or ride bicycles, but consume as much fuel as the rest of us.
Never has any presidentoal candidate had more fodder or dissatisfaction to treat as a political bumper crop harvest. And that goes for both sides.
If I wanted America to fail, I’d put Al Amendariz into a position of responsibility.
I would think union members who work for oil and gas companies as well as oil pipeline contractors and coal miners should have second thoughts when their union bosses tell them to vote for Obama.
You can’t fire them.
The agency might be closed (when was the last one closed ?) but the bureaucrats live on.
That’s what I’m saying - you can’t replace one department with another, because you still get the same Marxists holding positions of unaccountable power.
The only way is to make them go “cold turkey” for 5-10 years to flush them out.
I'm not sure but I thing we still maintain a strategic helium reserve in case there's an emergency and we need to keep the Navy dirigibles flying.
Virtually all employees were transferred to other departments.
The agency might be closed (when was the last one closed ?) but the bureaucrats live on.
Maybe so - but you can "crucify" them by bringing a few dozen or a few hundred up on criminal charges...which will be dropped if they resign. Alternatively, you could set up an EPA, OSHA, DHS, whatever field office somewhere in northern Alaska and ship them all there.
He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance. Once we revolted for such atrocities of the public trust committed against the people...oh, that we had sheriffs and governors who would arrest federal agents and put an end to the overbearing power of the feral government.
Some good ideas !
If Obama wins re-elections, many believe that Al Armendariz could become the next director of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Funny, he looks like a p***y but sounds like a jackbooted thug. Regardless, he should never be permitted in any position of authority in any governmental entity again.
How about the leftist democrat corruptocrats make an example of that crook Jon Corzine?! Oh, that’s right, he’s busy collecting millions for obama’s reelection campaign.
