The oil companies haven’t even hit a bump in the road, they simply moved a lot of their exploration head offices off shore, and coined the profits caused by demand, while the governments at the State and National levels continue to gouge Americans with fuel taxes which are regressive and unconscionable.
In short the EPA is not crucifying oil companies, they are crucifying the citizens of the United States.
And those citizens will soon crucify the EPA and all the a$$hat greenie Utopian liberal fascists who still refuse to ride horses or ride bicycles, but consume as much fuel as the rest of us.
Never has any presidentoal candidate had more fodder or dissatisfaction to treat as a political bumper crop harvest.And that goes for both sides.
If I wanted America to fail, I’d put Al Amendariz into a position of responsibility.
I would think union members who work for oil and gas companies as well as oil pipeline contractors and coal miners should have second thoughts when their union bosses tell them to vote for Obama.

Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association today released findings of a study conducted by Dr. Loren Scott on the impact of the extraction, refining and pipeline industries in Louisiana. Dr. Scott found the three industries cumulatively supported 310,217 jobs in the state, generated over $16.1 billion in household earnings for Louisianans, and supported $77.3 billion in sales by Louisiana firms in 2009.

Thanks for posting this....amazing that these commnts were made in 2010 and we’re just hearing about it. imho, even worse than using the word ‘crucify’ is his comment about ‘make examples of people’. This is what they do in Iran...hanging man who converted to Christianity...and in China. Make examples of some people in order to frighten others into submission. This guy wants to ‘crucify’ oil companies...can’t crucify a ‘company’ so does he want to crucify the CEO? Who’s next? If you refuse to buy a ‘green’ car, do you go to jail? If you use too much electricity, is your power cut off..or do you go to jail?
This is a hint of the mentality of the people currently in power. I know it will be fruitless but, I will call my Senators, Reps and the WH.
It is time to ‘crucify’ and bury EPA for ever.
