On his show Tuesday, Rush Limbaugh brought up a name that recently enveloped him in controversy: Sandra Fluke. But it wasn't about contraception. This time, the topic at hand was student loans. Saying Fluke is "coordinating" with the White House, Limbaugh noted the their similar tweets about rising interest rates on loans.
"Lookie here," Limbaugh said. "Barack Obama just warned the students at the University of North Carolina that interest rates on federal student loans will double if Congress doesn't act by July 1."
He then went on, mentioning one of Fluke's tweets:
"Word for word, what Sandra Fluke just tweeted herself. Of course, she is represented by operatives inside the White House. [...] 'Don't double my rate. Many students will see the interest rate on federal student loans increase if Congress doesn't act by July 1.' That's an exact tweet from Sandra Fluke! Obama just said the exact same thing, word for word, to the students at North Carolina!"
"Contraception isn't enough," Limbaugh said. "Some people want their education paid for by other people too."
Limbaugh then elaborated on his view of Fluke's connection to the White House:
"Sandra Fluke is just a poor, uh, isolated alone little college student worried about her contraception at Georgetown. But now she's represented by the flacks in the White House -- Hilary Rosen, Anita Dunn -- and they're coordinating with Obama, scaring students about the interest rates on their student loans."
Over at Business Insider, Brett LoGiurato noted another almost word-for-word tweet -- from the other side of the aisle:
Student loan rates set to double because a Democratic-controlled Congress voted to double them -- Speaker John Boehner (@SpeakerBoehner) April 24, 2012

Yeah, Volcker, architect of Obama's bank bailout.
But Fluke's just an average law student. It's a coincidence that she's 30-year-old leftist activist. And a coincidence that her friend/boyfriend has a family history of liberal causes and parents who are major donors and are perhaps . . . connected.
You may want to read the transcript. Fluke never talked about the cost of her contraception or her sex life. It was a darned artfully worded statement about 'other women.'
I forgot to include the </sarc> tag. I was being sarcastic when I said Fluke was an average law school student, and so on.
>>How is it that Sandra Fluke can’t afford “Contraception”,
but she doesn’t seem to have any trouble filling her gas tank every week? <<
That is how she fills her tank — by opening her tank to be filled.
It makes her a TOOL.
Someone please buy this woman a pack of rubbers and get her off the stage!
I don’t think we’re rotten to the core, or even stupid to the core, but the media and these devious clowns sure make it seem that way.
How could she ‘coordinate’ something when she seems to spend most of the time having sex?
Yeah, well, someone needs to tell boyfriend his little bitch is in heat and needs to be kept on a short leash.
Surely someone has a video camera available to interview Sandra Fluke’s bunkmate? Is he getting his money’s worth? (Assumes “he”)
I thought this slut already had her 15 minutes........
Sandra Fluke, who has already graduated from Cornell (out of state tuition, fees and housing = $59,591) could hardly be considered the typical middle class student when tuition alone at Georgetown Law is $46,000 a year. Her father is Richard B Fluke, II, who is a machinist and a pastor at a Methodist church from a small town in Saxton, Pennsylvania. Her mother, Betty Kay Fluke, is a school counselor. It seems odd that she chose to attend such an expensive elite school when it does not appear that her parents are able to pay the cost. Also, it seems odd that Fluke has chosen to be way over her ability to pay when there are less expensive schools with better opportunities for scholarships.
It also is curious to me how Fluke supported herself doing feminist work in NYC without parents able to give much financial support. Perhaps there is a money from a will from grandmother, Betty O’Neal Fluke, who died in 2010. But the big question for me is how is Sandra Fluke able to pay for her expensive education?
And, she has totally ruined all of slutdom.
Coordinating — that’s what the kids are calling it now.
Hey, at least she’s not a lesbian.
Thanks Scoutmaster.
I hope you saw my post that I intended to include the sarcasm tag. I don't know how recently you've put a child through college, but the purpose of the FAFSA form is to find out how much money the parents make. A substantial amount of financial aid and scholarship money is only available to students whose parents are not upper middle class or higher in income.
