It was wrong for the LAPD to beat Rodney King. They should have shot the SOB when he got up and lunged toward the officer’s gun. If they shot him those cops would be collecting their pensions today and the L.A. riots with over 50 dead would not have occurred.

Personally I feel his statement is just as important to the case as those of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
There really isn’t much difference between Rodney and Al except Rodneys opinions haven’t gotten anyone killed.
