Rodney King weighed in on the shooting death of an unarmed Florida teen whose death at the hands of a neighborhood watch volunteer earlier this year sparked national debate on race.
“It’s easy to kill a black man, a black kid also, these days and get away with it because it's been going on so long," King told WNYC's The Leonard Lopate Show on Wednesday. "He deserves justice. ... His family deserves justice."
King criticized those who have resorted to violence in the wake of the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, but said the tone has been set over decades.
"We’ve got to get away from that whatever it takes," he said.

As long as you are black to begin with - you can easily kill another black.

He’s a junky and has been arrested probably more than 10 times since his fame. One of those times involved an attempt to run over and kill an undercover prostitute who OPENLY tried to market him/herself as a TRANNY HO to him.
He has not changed ONE BIT and blew all his settlement cash on a FAILED RAP RECORD COMPANY.

I can understand them doing it, but it wasn't their place.
The other drivers and their passengers in the oncoming traffic should have gotten first crack at him.

Maybe he’s referring to black-on-black murders. Many go unsolved (through the Warn-A-Brother network maybe), and in that light, yes it is easy. And yes, it should stop.
Easier than getting any black charged with a hate crime when the victim is white?
It was wrong for the LAPD to beat Rodney King. They should have shot the SOB when he got up and lunged toward the officer’s gun. If they shot him those cops would be collecting their pensions today and the L.A. riots with over 50 dead would not have occurred.

What a wonderful thing to say. In fact, let me go further and add, the police should have killed that guy. It’s a free republic, right? And the constitution? Due process, cruel and unusual punishment, blah blah blah..
