Agree 100%, need to make a lot of noise between 2012-2016 and hold their feet to the fire, like you say - IMHO, that’s where it’s at, bigtime.

Looks like a man who has no conservative accomplishments whatsoever (actually, no REPUBLICAN accomplishments whatsoever) is going to get the GOP nomination. A man whose record virtually matches Obama's in every respect, right down to his very own government mandated socialist compulsory health insurance program. What would be the answer to this complaint?

"But y'all gotta do what y'all gotta do. I'm not going to stand in your way." For many of us, this primary season has been a disappointment. I suspect that for the majority of users and visitors on this site we are now faced with a somewhat similar situation to what we had in the last election.
From my own point of view, it is now important for us to work on every way possible to push Mr. Romney to the right. I think it can be done, if he he knows he will have support. His speech last night showed that he, or at least his staff, has been listening. What remains to be seen is whether we can be influential and not lose sight of the fact that there is nothing more important than removing Obama.
We've all done what we could to push our preferred candidate, now I think we have to do what we can to continue pushing our agenda and promoting our values.

If only Virgil Goode could get enough general election votes to, really, win the ‘12 POTUS race...I don’t believe in not voting for somebody for ‘12 POTUS, but I, already, tried the “vote for the RINO/vote for the Big Government conservative” thing in past elections for U.S. President, which didn’t work all that well. Crap, again, for all conservative voters interested in the race for ‘12 POTUS! As a capitalistic country, the U.S. is vanishing among everybody’s eyes...

Lots of good GOP candidates down ticket worthy of our support. We just slammed the GOP establishment candidate in Pennsylvania last night (U.S. Senate) and handed him a third place finish behind the winner, Tom Smith, who was backed by our SW PA TEA Party group and Sam Rohrer, was backed by the bigger TEA Party group in central and eastern Pennsylvania.
Pretty remarkable when you think about it. Our guy won by a 2-1 margin over the GOP-e candidate even with divided TEA Party backing.
Now, we need to unite behind him and make sure Bob Casey, Jr. is a one-term U.S. Senator and Obama rubber-stamp.

Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them. - Continental Congress Declaration, 1775

What I dont understand is how this election can be anybodys idea of fair. I understand there are still 14 states that havent even held their primaries yetthat means people in those states havent had a chance to vote yet-???How can the primary season be OVER???? How can this be fair-and since when did we start running an election this way? Doesnt anybody see a problem here??? I would think there would be enough intelligence in this country to see a HUGE problem here...we cant go on this way.

We have one more chance. If MaMittMitt gets in, we have to be sure we surround him with conservatives in the house and especially the senate.
The prez really doesn’t matter, it’s the people he surrounds himself with.
And THAT CAN BE CONTROLLED!
He CAN’T be allowed to surround himself with mittbots or romneyclones. The senate has to confirm his cabinet nominees, and if we ensure a majority of conservatives in the senate, mitt will get b***hslapped from day one.
There is still a chance. It will simply require more work.

Time to “pivot” and focus our energies on the Houses and Senate. Let’s win the Senate and strengthen the House.
