thank you for all you do, Mr. Robinson. and thank God for Free Republic.
for some time now (since the landslide, conservative tea party led, victory of 2010 followed by the abject republican failure of the lameduck), i’ve considered myself part of a defacto, conservative party. i think we’ve done our best to revive the R-party, but with the nomination of romney, it seems hopeless that we will ever have representation there. but His will be done.
i hope now that the final curtain is ringing down on the moribund RINO-party, that the shards of the conservative movement will soon unite and form a fresh, new conservative party. again, His will be done.
for now, i’ll throw whatever resources i can spare into support for individual candidates i judge to be truely conservative, whatever their party. we’ll need those conservatives to retard the statism from romney or most likely obama for the next four years.
America’s choice:
Obama or Mitt
Speedy or Slowmo . . . on the path to socialism and godlessness.
Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have.

I have a suggestion that may or may not have been made before. What if we were to do something special for the monthly donators, such as putting their names in bold red in the forum? For dollar a day donators, we could go a step further and maybe put a special symbol next to their name to make them really stand out.
Maybe there is a reason we can't do this that I'm not aware of but it would be really nice if we could. I think it would motivate a lot of people to be a monthly donator because they'd want to see their names in bold red as well - marking them as regular contributors.
Anyway, just a suggestion. And not entirely an unselfish one as my name would be one of those lit up in bold red with a special symbol next to it!
Keep up the good fight. I'm still undecided on whether I'm going to leave the presidential ballot blank this year or suck it up and check off Romney's name. But what I will do is show up and vote conservative in all the other races. Here in Massachusetts, there will be some good conservatives running in my precinct - Jon Golnick for Congress and Sandy Martinez for state senator, to name two of them. Then there's Scott Brown...now that's another cross for me to bear. It's tough being a conservative in Massachusetts!
A RINO inducsed setback in 1976 yielded something pretty good in 1980. Something about a certain Ronald Reagan...
So what's it going to be Jim, hold Romney's feet to the fire or just throw him in entirely?
Don't bother replying since you're already on record in throwing him in.........
Sorry but your choice of Mickey, Minnie or Goofy and the other's promise to vote 3rd and 4th party ain't going to do a thing to change the face of the GOP or get Obama out of office.
I thought the sole purpose of FR during this election cycle was to rid the white house of Obama?
I’m in. Not voting for a liberal. Ever. Writing in Palin this time around.
At what point do we admit the GOP is equal to the DNC?
We need our own party!
I agree with you: no more Obama Lites. Just suppose the Dems win: they will muck up the country so badly that we’ll have a Permanent Conservative Revolution next time around!
OldFashionedConservative
I would rather eat grass than vote for Mitt Romney! (thanks and a tip of the hat to President Jammeh...)
It has taken a while for me to make things click but it finally did
Rino Gop is an oxymoron
