ORLANDO -- Trayvon Martin's parents have a `heavy heart' now that neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman has been released from a Florida jail on bail as he awaits his second-degree murder trial.
Attorney Benjamin Crump represents Martin's parents. Crump said Monday that they would rather have seen Zimmerman stay in jail until he is tried for killing their 17-year-old son during a Feb. 26 confrontation at a gated community.

Mr. Taggart, would it make you feel any better if I was to up and shoot that white hispanic dead?
“I recon it would.”
First we have all the brouhaha because they were pissed he wasn’t arrrested.
Now he has been arrested, charged, and given bail pending a trial. He was treated as everyone else is in a similar situation.
The law has done their job and they are still griping.
And if the outcome of the trial isn’t as they want it to be, what then?
I can answer it.
Generational, cultural dumbing down and hate mongering.
They live in a world the MSM and elite liberals have created for them - a world where the rule of law doesn't matter, where truth doesn't matter, where justice doesn't matter. All that matters in La La Land is that blacks are eternal victims and ONLY their 'feelings' and the 'feelings' of elite liberals matter.
I’m getting pretty damn tired of them playing their sympathy violin.
I think that one of the things that the prosecution must prove is that Zimmerman “confronted” Martin, rather than the other way around.
Boo-****in’-hoo.
If it weren’t for the cops having a file on this punk. He would still be laying in the morgue . As it was it took a full day after these “distraught parents” were notified that one of showed up to make positive identification of the body.
If any violence occurs because of the MSM inflamatory reporting I hope they don’t escape the bad stuff and also get showered with disgust (figureatively speaking) on their personagas and offices.
even if this situation was exactly what they said it was....people are released on bail before trial all the time.
Welcome to the club!
Get it right. The incident happened at about 1917. Sunset was 1823, and civil twilight ended at 1846. It was cool and rainy. The 7-Eleven was about 0.9 miles away, an 18 minute walk. Reportedly, he was recorded on the store's video surveillance.
The denial goes futher than their sweet little child. It is their OWN guilt for not being there for their child. Not setting limits. Not spending time with him, listening, helping him with the temptations of life.
Not so fast -- they also have the magical silver-spoon card:
Well, like Sybrina said, it WAS an accident, so maybe she can find it in her heart to forgive George for protecting himself after her son was bashing George’s head into the concrete sidewalk.
I don’t think it was 3 am. More like 7 or 8 pm, I believe.
Proverbs 31:6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
Tarbender, send over a bottle of your best Boones Farm to those folks, on me.
These people need to accept at some point that their son was a menace to society, and hearbreaking as it may for them, - - the world is now one thug safer . . .
I have a “heavy heart” because the Martins were not better parents.
I find it hard to be anywhere near compassionate for these folks...not after the demonization done in their name.
Zimmerman can’t show himself because of the frenzy these overwrought crazies have engendered. And the Martins are complicit in that: they certainly have made no moves or motions to quell it.
Maybe if something happens to Zimmerman, they should be held to account.
