In the lastest Rasmussen tracking poll, which has had no media coverage, Newt Gingrich is trailing Barack Obama by only 7 points nationally. Barack Obama is leading Mitt Romney by only 5 points in Florida. These poll results are being withheld by the RNC and the MSM, who want no positive news about Newt in circulation, especially the fact he is only behind Obama by 7 points nationally.
The RNC establishment’s current strategy remains: Publish no poll numbers; spread the word that Romney is the nominee; have people vote based on blackout and misinformation expecting Romney to win big; then hit hard with Romney’s wins and Newt’s losses to bully Newt into dropping.
Please do yourself the honor of reviewing actual polls by doing a Google search for “2012 Republican presidential polls (name state)” and you will see why the RNC is using this tactic. Then spread the word!

I’m just sad - sad that so many of you seem to be willing to abandon Mitt in the general. I was for Sarah Palin on November 4, 2008. I later donated and campaigned for Cain, and then for Bachmann. You might deny it but I have the cred. I walked the walk. And you are talking about campaigning for Obama. Oh yes you are! You’re not saying that but you are talking about voting against Romney in the general. All of you who do so are are freaking Obama supporters.
I’m voting for Newt in the Texas primary; but unfortunately, it is indeed over. Romney will be the nominee.

Don't be sad for me or many others, if not most, who are supporting Newt. I truly intend to support romney IF he gets the nomination, after he earns the 1144 delegates. Is that so difficult to understand?

Until romney has won the nomination, not been coronated via inevitability, not because every says he's the presumptive nominee, but until he is the nominee, we are standing against the establshment, the compromised, the fearful.

You don't think the RNC has plenty of friends in the so-called conservative media, whom they can direct to give no play whatsoever to these polls results that portend Newt moving up in a meaningful way?
This is a rasmussen poll, it says that a candidate who has been declared dead three times now, is polling 7 points behind barack obama - why haven't we seen this story, then? You tell me..

It’s just maddening how powerful the media are - they can make or break someone who can’t afford to buy a TON of commercial time. I’ve always maintained that Newt could easily win if enough people were exposed to his ideas, speeches and debates. And if he got to be the nominee going up against BHO, it’d then be a slam dunk.
It’s getting him enough exposure that’s the challenge, to counteract MR’s dirty tactics and being the media’s darling.
But we do have hope and prayer - thanks for sharing those poll numbers!!!

Even more important to know, why do you support Mitt Romney when he is a self-admitted Progressive, a national socialist. (In Germany, these people were called Nazis).

It’s just talk at this point.
Hopefully, if it comes to it, they will realize that staying at home is a vote for Eric Holder and another unqualified but ethnically favored, lifetime, SCOTUS member.
