Chips Moman gave
Mark James the placement of a lifetime when he assigned a song of his to Elvis Presley in 1969. It became a monstrous hit and showed that Elvis was back for real. This was to be the high water mark for James until 1972 when he teamed with Wayne Carson for musical immortality.

Of the denizens of Wallys Nightclub, no one was as hungry for success as
Eddie Rabbitt. He had grown up in North Jersey and became a walking encyclopedia of country music in his teens. Dropping out of high school, he went to Nashville and took a series of menial jobs while writing songs at night. A pitch to
Chips Moman in 1969 gave him his first success, a gold record and a lot of money to spend on beer. This song is a masterpiece.

Onions, garlic and strawberries are rioting Kathy. I fenced in the Strawberries to keep the bunnies out. The Potatos popped out, got frostbit and withered a week ago and are now comming back slowly. Mammouth sunflowers are digging the sunshine and a few tiny tomato and chilli sprouts are showing promise in my new raised beds. I just planted Red beans this week and black beans and corn are on the agenda next week.
The pear tree is already bearing tiny fruit and the grapes and blueberry vines look healthy. My tiny peach tree survived the winter and has doubled in size to about 12 feet. Daffadils and tulips are already gone except two lone red tulips on the North side that get late afternoon sun. I have hundreds of hot pepper sprouts (24 varieties) and I’m trying to sprout some lettuce. None of the ghost peppers have sprouted and I’ve about given up, but the Aja Limon, Black Nagas King Morachs and Scotch Bonnet are looking fine. The Cayannes and hot cherries aren’t sprouting well either, but Jalapenos, Serranos and Annahiems are growing. We had no frost in Feb. or March and the April comes, I plant stuff and we had a hard freeze, lol. I was watering the garden at 4 AM trying to keep ‘em alive.
