Jim Rob Is Right - But Conservatives Here Have TWO Jobs To Do!

First - blow off that feeling that we're going to lose, or already have lost! No, we're going to WIN.

First item of business, get invovlved in the Tea Party movement, and give D.C. a whole new influx of conservatives in Congress similar in size and importance to that of the last election - thereby blocking any of Obamas chances of having Congressional support for his machinations. Note too, the Tea Party used the GOP vehicle, not a third party. Reason, third parties are losers, because they don't have the national organization and presence large enough to compete.

FReepers need to get involved locally. There are tens of thousands of empty seats in local district Committees of the GOP across this nation - caused mostly by conservative appathy! Just by showing up regularly, you can be assured of gaining a seat from which you can VOTE - go to your county committees and vote there - and go to your state party conventions and vote there! (I personally helped see the ouster of liberal GOP control of the California GOP. Yes it was hard work, but we won - and that win has been, and can be duplicated in these perilous times through the 'hard work' of just SHOWING UP!)

Conservatives have a chance to block Obama, if not replace him. We CAN do that, but conservatives can not win by voting third-party - it's a throw-away vote that nets nothing.

The current GOP-E is NOT the friend of FREEDOM - but they are a very tiny group of RINO's that we can beat the snot out of - simply by doing what we can at the local district and state level. We - FReepers, and other dedicated conservatives - can and have ultimately fielded who becomes part of the GOP establishment. We need to OWN it like we did in the Reagan era, not destroy it through lack of attention to our God given orders to be 'watchmen on the wall' of who become our leaders.

No - it's not too late to shoulder your own responsibility - and earn your own right to say, 'I have fought the good fight, and WE WON.' There will be many opportunities in coming days to 'get involved' - don't let them slip by. Take advantage of the huge opportunities - you can, and will make a difference! It is quite fulfilling to debate hated RINO's FACE TO FACE - WIN when the vote is tallied - and see them denied a seat in party or public office!

Last but not least - we ALL need to get behind our Freepathon. Isn't it worth at least a dollar per day to you to come here, read, post, laugh and debate? Yes, I know, times are rough, and the 'cost of living' has gone way up. But, I'll bet you blow a lot on chocolate cake and ice cream or (insert your favorite deserts) - I, unfortunately, do! So let's all try to push this FReepathon toward an early completion - it might help save your waistline! LOL

Sorry RIghtwardHo, that last post was meant for Once-Ler and his lousy DNC inspired attack against you.

Why would he need to showboat by "signing on" a rejected judge who's okay with gun control when he could have the whole Federalist Society at his disposal?

Oh jeeze, so now Robert Bork is a commie too?

"another result like 2010 in Congress"

If conservatives want to "snatch victory from the jaws of defeat" - there is no better way than to work like crazy over the coming months to EXCEED the result of 2010 - by significant numbers!

What a slap-down of Obama THAT would be!

>>I will vote 3rd or, more likely, sit this one out now that Santorum has pulled out.<<

I would vote 3rd party only...only, if they get in gear and get in the race, if they are truly a viable candidate. Not some bonehead.

Lastly, if there is no 3rd party candidate stepping up....Newts far and away better than Romney even with his bumpy past.

Some people keep saying this but the exit polls from the primaries just don't bear it out.

Plenty of evangelical Christians are voting for Romney. That is why he keeps winning.

You're problem, Mitt's Problem, and every other supporter of Mitt's is that, beleive it or not, a lot of potential voters still aren't aware of Mitt's sordid Progressive Liberal record.

Once they understand, By Obama and the MSM no less, that Mitt IS the Father of Gay Marriage, and it will be played loud and long by Obama's Media and once the YouTube videos of Romney wholeheartedly supporting Abortion are played non-stop against Romney, he's toast.

So far, they've kept alot of this under wraps, however, it won't be long until they are shredding Mitt's candidacy to shreds using his own left-wing Progressive Liberal record.

Your boy Obama is toast, a dead-man walking and he doesn't even know it.

He's the John McCain on steroids of 2012

“Another pro-Obama Freeper. rat...it’s the new conservatism.”

Jim,
Take a look at RIghtwardHo’s post and Once-Ler’s response.

I have to say I’m tired of seeing the Romneybots trash and accuse posters who don’t whore out their conservative principles by supporting their baby killing, gun grabbing, socialist. They resort to the same name calling and whiny irrational tactics as the Dems....of course I guess I could expect as much from liberals...even if they are “severely conservative”. We should not have to read their comments be labeling us as “Obama supporters” just because we don’t toe the GOP-e line. I could do without ever being called “Pro-Obama” just because I oppose the GOP-e chosen liberal, sleazey socialist. F them, F the establishment, and FUMR.

Thanks for hosting such a great site, and creating a safe haven for conservatives...even when the party betrays us.

That being said, would you mind taking out some of the trash? It’s starting to get “severely” stinky in here.

I just don’t think the man can attract enough votes from Christian voters, who have always been a large majority of ‘conservatives.’

The GOP primaries are even more dominated by Christians and Romney is doing pretty well in those.

I have seen a lot of polling from conservative sources that has shown Romney garnering a plurality of the Christian vote in the primaries.

I wanted someone else to be our nominee but it is worth asking why that didn't happen. At least some of the assumptions that we FReepers were making six months ago haven't completely panned out.

Don’t forget local school boards (taxes and the liberal mind control of our youth), library boards, local government, etc.

"Theory is nice but evidence is always more important."

Yeah - there is 'evidence' - but this isn't conclusive by any measure. Why? Because it is 'incidental' from primaries that are historically less attended than the general election.

I'll stand by my bet - we'll all see what happens in November.

Who knows - Obama is SO BAD - hell, I think Mickey Mouse could win if he were put on the ballot! LOL

Let's see how voting goes in Texas - which I expect to be very much lower in turnout than it will be in November.

Yeppers! ALL of those ‘little’ elections are as important as the big ones - if not a LOT MORE important!

>>Obama in the White House is the end of America.<<

No...no it's not. Regardless of whether we have a Republican or Democrat is in office, we keep heading down the same path.

Both parties have been highjacked. When they break it, we will fix it.

I know many patriotic men who will NEVER allow the country to be destroyed. One day, it will break.

We will probably see some really ugly times, but I am confident that those who fight for liberty and freedom fight
with a deeper degree of conviction and intensity.

Once you've tasted freedom, you will never live as a subject. History of the founding of this country testifies to what I've said.

I really don’t follow you.

How does it make sense to think that Obama will run against Romney by portraying him as too socially moderate for conservatives?

Why wouldn’t this backfire and win Romney the votes of social moderates who don’t like Obama’s economic policies?

Obama is going to call Romney an uncaring plutocrat. If the leftists mention gays or abortion it will be to describe Romney as too conservative on these issues.

Given that Texas is voting so late this time I'm not sure what a low turnout will really prove.

Mitt’s action speak louder than his words, and the actions say he’s almost as much of a lib has Obama.

I suspect it would have to be close for them to cheat beyond the norm. With a Rominee, I do not think that race is salvagable. Perhaps I can move to a less than 80% Black district by November to vote for a Congresscritter where it will matter.
