It’s funny when people say this. The argument that you won’t support Romney because of the damage it would do to the GOP indicates that you value the GOP over the country as a whole.

The sad thing is, the GOP elite are not capable of learning.
All of us saw the GOP bloodbath in 2006 when Pelosi became Speaker of the House. What was the GOP response? They elected the same old RINO bastards back to leadership positions in the minority.
They aren’t teachable. We have to go around them.
WE NEED A NATIONAL CONSERVATIVE PARTY NOW. Sure, we’ll lose elections for a decade while starting up, but 12 years in, the new conservative party candidates would be out-drawing the remnants of the old GOP.
We need to do so before that. There has to be a prominent, articulate conservative willing to run as a third-party candidate. The quicker that candidate gets into the race and organized, the greater percentage of the vote he or she can garner.
I doubt there is time for that, with the GOP ready to take down any conservative candidate, like they did Herman Cain & Palin, who will even be willing to enter the race. The GOP is powerful & what they did to Palin & Cain is mind boggling!
Yes, I said the GOP, not the Rats, it was our own repub party who took them down!

The only thing a third party candidate, running on such short notice AND having to build an organization will garner, is Obama’s second term. Is that what you really want?
The best time to have started a third party, was 2 years ago when the Tea Party was strong, defeating Rats in the senate!

The choice is to vote a write in. Keep the % votes for whoever wins low, less of a claimed ‘mandate’.
Also, VOTE DOWN TICKET!
It’s critical to claim the senate and keep the house, as well as put as many conservatives in there as we can.

I agree with everything you said in your post...except the above.
In three years, our debt and deficit has become unsustainable. Inflation is creeping in and destroying our savings, disposable income. The federal reserve CANNOT raise interest rates to tame inflation for fear they will drag an already lethargic economy to a screeching halt.
21% real unemployment, more folks on food stamps than anytime in history. Industrial and trade output lowest in levels in history.
This nation is in hot water! What if we open another war front in Iran? Hundreds of billions more in debt.
We don't have any representation in D.C., we barely hear a peep from Republicans in defense of any damn thing.
This is like some sort of bizarr-o world where everything that seems wrong is supported as right.
Those of us who see the signs, the red flags, know what is brewing. Arm yourself!
I’d really , really like to be able to vote FOR a candidate again. However I will vote against Obozo. And in doing so I’ll vote against Holder, and Sebelius, and the czars and every stinking socialist associated with the Regime.
I also can’t live with myself not voting if it gave Obama the opportunity to name more SCOTUS Justices.
It isn’t what I want. But we play the cards we’re dealt with. The Commie in Chief has done more than enough real damage to the nation and our allies. I will vote against him and (in all likelihoo) for Mitt because as unappealing as Mitt Romney is, he’s a HECKUVA lot better than the current joker.
Of course, that ain’t saying much....
