Guaranteed. (Vanity)

It pains me to write this, but I am a realist: Barack Obama is one-hundred-percent guaranteed to win the 2012 Presidential race, and there is precious little anyone can do about it.
Please do not take this as a license to do nothing to prevent it. It is best that we go to our fate knowing we did all we could to stop it. We must know in deep in our core that all our hearts and souls were poured into thwarting the plans of this tyrant.
However: allow me to present the reasons I know we are destined to have another -- terminal -- four years of Obama:
- War With Iran: One-hundred-percent chance of Obama going to war with Iran in August of 2012. This will be a cynical pseudo-war intended ONLY to benefit Obama with the very-long-demonstrated rally-round-the-President phenomenon. August also gives the proper time frame to allow the momentum to build in Obama's favor, and yet not be long enough of a 'war' to garner popular anger. It also prevents the Republicans from having enough time to educate the public about this hideously-cynical Machiavellian move.
- High Gas Prices as a Positive: The War with Iran will allow Obama to claim he is doing this to reduce gasoline prices, or prevent them from rising. This is nonsense, of course: It will be launched for political reasons and his Transportation Secretary pick, Steven Chu, has long been on record as favoring very high gasoline prices.
- Race Wars: Racial low-grade warfare will be purposefully pushed by this Administration, and coupled with a complicit press, the incidents of black-on-white violent crime will be 'disappeared down the memory hole', but any white-on-black violent crime will be heralded and trumpeted on every headline on every newspaper and Gangster Government Media outlet. This is intended to increase the black vote.
- Lies about the Economy: The complicit press will continue to lie about the economy, biasing things to show Obama in a good light.
- Occupy Wall Street: Occupy Wall Street protests will drastically increase, in a manner intended to highlight Mitt Romney's wealth and paint him as a 1%-er, and paint Obama as an average guy.
These are the major election strategies Obama clearly intends to run on. Add in some of the more minor strategies: Active and ignored voter fraud; Ignoring and overruling Supreme Court rulings on Obamacare being unconstitutional; and the fabricated 'Republican war on women', and you have a formula for guaranteed Obama re-election.And if you thought Obama was bad in Presidential term one, imagine him with nothing to lose in Presidential term two.

I pray you are right. And if I am wrong, I will be the happiest wrong-vanity-poster ever. In fact, I promise, if I am wrong that I will post a naked picture of myself as pennance.Saving for November 7th.

The SC will uphold obamacare. obama already knows the vote. His little speech was so he can claim to have “forced” the SC to rule in his favor. This also takes obamacare off the table. The SC has the final say.

I can’t see war with Iran as helping Obama in any way. He further alienates his left allies and Americans in general are war weary.
I am breaking my self imposed ignore politics policy for this one thread. I opted out when both Romney AND Santorum opined on women joining Augusta National. That little pile filled the bucket of my contempt to running over. A pox on them all.
I will vote against Obama in November. That is all.

The best way to guarantee an Obama victory is to make Romney the GOP nominee.
Once that happens, it doesn't matter who wins.

My scenario is Obama wins the popular and loses the electoral like 2000. Then unlike 2000 the SHTF and Martial law is declared. Obama will still be Prez in 2013. Civil War II.

Like others I disagree with your point 1 and 2.
I agree with your points 3,4 and 5.
My biggest reason to date that abomination wins is because the republican party failed to offer a candidate that was distinguishly different. Speaking of Mittens.
Now faced with a choice of 4 more years with obozo and the permanent damage to my children's children OR seeing a picture of you naked and the permanent damage it will do to myself and others here . . . . . . uhmmmmmmm never ever thought i would give the other side a second thought. /sarc

I'm with Defiant on this one...and it's going to take a steely resolve to endure the politicking through Election Day.
The polls mean nothing at this time. The vast majority of voters aren't paying attention to this year's election, and won't until after Labor Day.
I'm not discounting Laz's thoughts, but remember this:
it will all crystalize the last weekend before Election Day. The average voter will ask themselves, "do I really want another 4 years of Obama?"
Through that examination, they'll be reminded of inflation at the grocery store, pain at the pump, crony capitalism (green energy - Solyndra), 15% effective unemployment, a few more vacations by Michelle, and the likelihood the debt limit has been reached ahead of schedule...again.
If the Pubbies/Mitt can focus on the economy, and the spectre of an unfettered Obama in his second term, Romney should win 350+ EV's.

Laz, curious as to what makes you believe there's a 100% chance we go to war with Iran in August. Care to elaborate?

My scenario is Obama wins the popular and loses the electoral like 2000. Then unlike 2000 the SHTF and Martial law is declared. Obama will still be Prez in 2013. Civil War II.The still-relatively-limited voter fraud, I believe, will prevent that.

We need to add one more item: Running romney as a candidate pretty much seals the deal for more reasons than I care to list.
Romney can never win and his candidacy effective end the GOP as a viable political party.
