(CNN) Rick Santorum went to the tee Thursday evening, weighing in on a golf controversy that earlier attracted the attention of the White House and other GOP presidential hopefuls.

The government has no business getting involved in this, and Rick won’t win over the majority of conservatives, by taking this position.
Truth is...our national politicians are terrible...all of them...with the possible exception of the principled Ron Paul.
What part of ‘private’ don’t they understand ?
No federal funding
no tax break
no 501c
“private”
The country is goign to hell ina handbasket and we’re focussing ion a bunch of boy golfers.
The more serious the real issues are, the more we get mired in the ridiculous meaningless issues.
Evidently by design.
Katie Couric crying about women being banned, also. Are men permitted in the Miss U.S.A. or Miss America contests? Didn’t think so. How exclusionary! How many whites, asians, or hispanics in the Congressional Black Caucus? None. How exclusionary! How about Curves health club? Women only. How about Spa Lady Fitness Center? Oops,,,women only. Lucille Roberts Health Clubs/Gyms? You guessed it. Exclusionary. Couric or obama complaining about The American News WOMEN’S Club? Nope. How about the Association For WOMEN Journalists? Not a peep. How about NewsWOMEN’S Club of New York? You kidding?
So when are Newt and Paul going to weigh in?
These are the choices we have been given by the partyto run against der Fuehrer. All losers
I give conservative women more credit than these panderers do. We don’t need everything to be gender neutral.
What an incredible Cinderella story, this unknown comes outta no where to lead the pack, at Augusta. He's on his final hole, he's about 455 yards away - he's gonna hit about a two-iron I think. Oh he got all of that one! The crowd is standing on its feet here, the normally reserved Augusta crowd - going wild - for this young Cinderella, he's come outta no where, he's got about 350 yards left, he's gonna hit about a five-iron, don't you think? He's got a beautiful backswing - that's - Oh he got all of that one! He's gotta be pleased with that, the crowd is just on its feet here, uh - He's the Cinderella boy, uh - tears in his eyes I guess as he lines up this last shot, he's got about 195 yards left, he's got about a - its looks like he's got about an eight-iron. This crowd has gone deathly silent, the Cinderella story, outta no where, a former greenskeeper now - about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac - It's in the Hole!
Gunga Galunga
So when are Newt and Paul going to weigh in?
That leaves Newt as the only viable candidate with some testosterone left
I agree.
So if women are allowed to join at Augusta, would it require renovations to the golf course itself or are there already ladies tees at every hole?
At least he doesn't favor the male members.
I think all of the candidates and alot of the public supports that the women should be in. I think it should be up to the company (maybe I am behind in this whole thing or like seeing different activities for men and women) Me, I am not going to stress over it. The women have been after this for years. I will put my time in other places.
Seeing your list of exclusionary women’s health clubs, I’m reminded of how Rush Limbaugh explains his support for the “women’s movement” and stands behind it...likely firmly behind it. I know I do...
I thought I saw a thread a few days ago where a "transgendered" (aka, sex deviate) was allowed to enter the Miss Canada contest, or something?
Wearing a dress can get you into a women's locker room now, I think.....
I’m for midgets being brought into the Augusta golf club.
I’m also for albinos being brought into the Augusta golf club.
I’m for Muslims being brought into the Augusta golf club.
I’m for Chinese millionaires being brought into the Augusta golf club.
I also think that she-males, Klingons, wooden puppets, imaginary people, ghosts, bigfoot, and leprechauns should be included as well.
However, I’m against membership being offered to Ron Paul, or Hulk Hogan.
This is my announcement that I am now completely ignoring the campaign for POTUS.
I shall vote against Obama, duh.
That is all.
