(CNN) – Mitt Romney added his voice to the chorus calling for women to be allowed to join Augusta National Golf Club.
When asked if women should be admitted, the Republican presidential frontrunner responded: "Of course."
"I am not a member of Augusta. I don't know if I would qualify. My golf game is not that good," Romney told reporters after an energy-themed event in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. "Certainly if I were a member, if I could run Augusta, which isn't likely to happen, of course I'd have women into Augusta."
Earlier Thursday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said President Barack Obama's "personal opinion is women should be admitted."

Obama is going to be commenting on all these types of issues from here on out so that Romney has to respond. If Romney said hell no it’s a private club then the headline would read “Romney anti women”. I think he did a fine job answering it - if HE was running the club which is highly unlikey, he would allow women members which squares with my opinion that if I were running it I would allow them too!

If I owned a golf course, I’d would have it open to the public. What they do at Augusta is no one’s business, except those who have a stake in it. To just add my opinion, Augusta is making money without women. Why take a risk of losing cash so a few women can get notoriety?

Now, this is a little different than saying "of course" immediately when asked if Augusta should do it. It doesn't see as though he's telling AUGUSTA what to do...he's saying HE would do it.
Quite a different take. I don't like Romney, but it seems as though the MSM may have taken the "of course" out of context...not unusual for the LSM.
I can see where this would be a real Candidate breaker! (Who cares about the National Debt and economy anyway, this is what is far more important!)

And why is that, you ask? Because women, it turns out, have special concerns.
And men DON’T have special concerns? Smoking cigars, sipping whiskey, swapping lies and general swagger, none of which appeal to females for the most part, and should they be in the room, would seek to suppress.
That is why the “Members Only” policy exists in the first ploace, and why the membership is further restricted to “Men Only” at Augusta.
How is he going to campaign against Obuzzard when he holds the exact same views and policies?
