Why anyone would dumb down his/her brain to watch network “News” is beyond me. Then again, several million women watched Oprah, too.

fwiw, this is the email I sent to NBC about a week ago:
I'm certain my voice will not be heard amid the thousands of voices in the Trayvon Martin case, but I must add this:
Friday, I believe, on your broadcast, the reporter used the words "gunned down..."
Really. How does "gunned down" add to the climate of cool heads and reason?
But I guess that's the point, isn't it? You, sir, Brian Williams, have long since ceased to be a journalist; you are a shill for the left in general and the Obama Administration in particular.
Shill is defined as "A plant or stooge who publicly helps a person or organization without disclosing that he has a close relationship with that person."
You and your whole NBC team should be ashamed.
So let's find this "shooter" who "gunned down" this poor 17-year-old and lynch him? Is that what you are after?
Shame on you.

There is only One way to solve this problem, IMMEDIATE REVOCATION OF THEIR LICENSE TO BROADCAST OVER THE “PUBLIC OWNED AIRWAVES” It is a Privilege not a RIGHT and the FCC can put them out of business TODAY for this BLATANT VIOLATION of the Public Trust, not that they ever had any to begin with.

They did make a mistake, the editing was to obvious, not subtle enough, they got caught, and will be careful not to let themselves be caught in the future.
Of course they will always be caught, liberalism is a mental disorder, they can not help themselves.

The editing of the 911 call should be examined with the pixelation/distortion of the video of Zimmerman's head wounds. That distortion was intention -- to cover up the actual wounds, so the newsies could claim Zimmerman seemingly had no visible wounds.
When a higher-definition, non-pixelated/non-distorted version of the video was presented, it showed just the opposite -- wounds were visible and obvious.
==
One 'editing' incident might be covered over as being an unintentional error. Two! No way! It was overt and it was intentional -- to drive the narrative in a specific direction.
NBC News was caught with their credibility down around their ankles -- twice! on the same story.

Williams has been, since 2004, the managing editor of NBC News. And this was no mistake. It was a purposeful attempt to drive the narrative against Zimmerman. It is Williams job to see that the facts are reported rather than skewed. And the buck stops with him. This is no isolated incident for Williams. Hes an ardent leftist who began his career by interning for Jimmy Carter.I can't stand Williams. He is the face of what is wrong with the DBM and, no doubt, was a principle with the Journolists and is probably driving a sequel to the Journolists for this election.
The more I see of what passes for journalism in this country, the more I hope that the DBM crashes and burns - the sooner, the better. Hopefully, the Trayvon Martin manipulation of the facts will be the final nail in the coffin of the DBM.

I wonder if Williams can sleep at night, knowing that he helped incite the beating of a white man in Florida by two black thugs with a hammer.

I’d love to straighten Brian Williams’ nose... with a left hook.

Zimmerman has ample grounds for a slander suit against NBC and Brian Williams. If this editing is provable, it is prima facie evidence of “wanton and wilful disregard for truth,” which moves it beyond First Amendment protections and into the realm of a tort.

That’s an insult to those horses. They have far more integrity than Williams or his “news” channel.

Can NBC be charged with a crime? I want to know because the so-called news media have deliberately lied so very often and have done so very much damage by their lies. Can they be fined by FCC or something? we can't expect them to clean up their act if there is no punishment.

Williams could be described as the southern end of a northbound horse. Or you could say, there are more horses asses in this world than horses.
