Zimmerman has ample grounds for a slander suit against NBC and Brian Williams. If this editing is provable, it is prima facie evidence of “wanton and wilful disregard for truth,” which moves it beyond First Amendment protections and into the realm of a tort.
The “whitening” of Zimmerman needs to be exposed, as well.
This was obvious and purposeful - they intended to make it “racist white man kills innocent black child”.
