President Barack Obama weighed in on the "tragedy" of Trayvon Martin's death last week, saying it is "absolutely imperative" that all levels of government investigate "every aspect" of how the unarmed boy was shot.
"I can only imagine what these parents are going through," Obama said, adding "When I think about this boy I think about my own kids."
"I am glad that not only is the Justice Department is looking into this, but the Governor of the State of Florida has put together a task force [to investigate the case]," Obama said. Obama carefully avoided any discussion of George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin, and has controversially avoided arrest under Florida's "Stand Your Ground" self-defense laws.
"My main message is to the parents: If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon. I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves."
We have the transcript of Zimmrman's 911 call to the police. We don't have a transcript of what Martin said to his GF.
There is also nothing that indicates anything other than a case of self defense per the police statements and the 911 tapes.
"When the Sanford Police Department arrived at the scene of the incident, Mr. Zimmerman provided a statement claiming he acted in self defense which at the time was supported by physical evidence and testimony."
"Mr. Zimmerman was not acting outside the legal boundaries of Florida Statute by carrying his weapon when this incident occurred. He was in fact on a personal errand in his vehicle when he observed Mr. Martin in the community and called the Sanford Police Department."
"The Sanford Police Department has conducted a complete and fair investigation of this incident. We have provided the results of our investigation to the Office of the State Attorney for their review and consideration for possible criminal prosecution."

So, Jug Ears want the DoJ to investigate “every aspect of this case” to find the truth. Well, why not apply that same level of interest to himself. We want to know “every aspect” of the Kenyan Klown’s past so the voters can make a better, more informed decision in November.
Having said that, how is it that a person on neighborhood watch has a gun? The 911 person told him to back off. He refused and looks like he wanted to be a hero. Based on what I know of this case, the shooter shoul be in jail awaiting charges. Such a sad incident.

Yes, you could probably list 10 black on white murders for every of the reverse, but chances are pretty good the ration is MUCH higher. Blacks just kill at a much higher percentage than whites, and mixed races murders tend to be black on white, and black on others.

I think he was, and is on to something. One of his warnings back in the day was that if the economy ever goes south, this whole racial thing could blow up in our faces.
Interesting. Now, how about this:
One night he sees a young unfamiliar white kid walking—asks him what he’s doing here. Kid says “ F*** off, old man, I’m doing whatever I want. Leave me alone” He walks off. Black guy follows for some distance and then turns around and heads back to his truck. The unfamiliar white kid stalks the black guy as he returns to his truck and ambushes him, knocking him to the ground and begins to pound him without mercy (he was 'dissed, after all). Black guy has a gun-pulls it and kills the kid.
Now, doesn't that change things? It should.
