Remind me I need to fix Liberty Call....just came to mind!:)
I had a good day indeed...did “happy Hour” with a dear friend. I’ve never done it before & not my cuppa tea. Not to mention I picked a lousy place as it turned out.
The “pigs” are here nightly.
Daisy dog is getting so deaf a cottontail ran behind her the other day & she didn’t even notice!

Well, we have had pretty cool temps through today. It rained a bit early Monday morning...but not enough to help much around here. Then tomorrow, the temps are supposed to start climbing.
I dread summer....

SOUP FOR THE TROOPS
WELCOME TO THE
(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities

A pinch of this...a dash of that...
The last person to be guillotined in France, Hamida Djandoubi, was executed in 1977.
A simple, moderately severe sunburn damages the blood vessels
to such an extent that it takes four to fifteen months
for them to return to their normal condition.
The Marquis de Lafayette, America's Revolutionary War ally,
named his only son George Washington Lafayette. P<>
Walter Camp, more than any other person,
was responsible for transforming the U.S. game of football
into a unique contest, different from its soccer and rugby roots.
For these contributions, he was called "The Father of American Football."
From 1876 to 1871, Camp starred as a rugby runner and kicker at Yale,
and represented Yale at the intercollegiate football conventions.
Camp championed the following rules:
reduction of players per side from 15 to 11 men (1879);
creation of the scrimmage in which one team holds undisputed possession of the ball (1880);
the system in which a team must gain a specified number of yards
within a specified number of downs to retain possession (1882);
and the point system of scoring (1883).
Got a busy day today since I'm off tomorrow and Monday.
Moving into lurker mode and will get in my morning hellos when I can.
But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
PLEASE REMEMBER THEM ....
