Last week Rick Santorum vowed to end Americas pandemic of pornography, insisting that if he were president he would limit the rights of adults to show and view images of consenting adults having sex. No doubt there is too much pornography in this country, and anyone thinking of watching it should go read their Bible instead. But what I want in a president is a pragmatist, not a panderer.
It would have been one thing for Santorum to say that his real crusade is against pedophilia or against child trafficking. Those are real evils that must be stopped. But thats not what he said.
Heres why Santorum should stop talking about porn.

The media keeps asking, and then when he answers, then they criticize him for talking about it. Liberals.

The folks who get their stuff about pornography and homosexuality published in Forbes definitely know what the preferences are with the Forbes editorial board.
Say, wasn't Forbe's dad a homosexual?
Well, there you have it. No more discussion is needed.

When asked about pornography, contraception, etc, Santorum should answer “Let’s talk about something more urgent, such as jobs, economy, gas prices, Afghanistan etc”. Getting tangled up on social issues is a loser.

Why is the media and columnists directing Santorum which way he should say things. Everyone seems to be helping him with how he should say things or offer the polices in which he should offer.

Ask the author the next time he is watching his filth how he would feel if it was his daughter that he was watching.
To: Christie at the beach
Maybe because Santorum is a bait-eating moron, as are his supporters?

I agree.
I want a President as the leader of the United States.
My preacher is for my church.

I don’t even care how the author feels or felt about his daughter in porn.
I want less than $4 a gallon gas and unemployment less than 15%.

The media keeps asking, and then when he answers, then they criticize him for talking about it. Another way to look at it: The media keep asking Santorum for ammunition that they can use against him, and he keeps giving it to them, and they keep using it against him.

Last week Rick Santorum vowed to end Americas pandemic of pornography, insisting that if he were president he would limit the rights of adults to show and view images of consenting adults having sex. Bloody nonsense. Santorum didn't say that he would do this last week. He had on his website in months and vowed to return to the Bush era enforcement of federal obscenity laws as opposed to Obama choosing not to enforce the law.

Gas headed to $4 dollars plus and unemployment truthfully somewhere around 15% and he allows himself to make comments on porn as if it's a primary issue.
He'll bury himself before it's over.
To: Fred
As Santorum is naieve enough to get led into this obvious
trap, he’s not NEARLY ready for the presidency.

Here’s an idea. Just talk about those things that are actually delegated to the federal government, and authorized by an enumerated power.
