It was a sobering dinner party last night... Hosted by a London billionaire in his exquisite home...but the conversation between the ten of us was stone-cold serious...
"You know what my biggest fear is?" our host asked. "It's not really Obama, for what he's done is to accelerate what the liberals have been slowly doing for decades -- so quickly that their socialism is obvious to everyone. Which means the solution is obvious to everyone. My biggest fear is that voters will give Republicans the power to repair America on November 2nd -- and the Republicans won't have the courage to do it."

Kind of hard to spot when Newt cut it in half isn't it?
works for me!
That is everybodies fear, not only those people in the UK. We are in deep, deep trouble, financially. It will take 2 to 3 years before we can get back to our feet. I’m afraid that our republican politicians won’t have the nerve to carry it through. They can take a page from the Coolidge administration. When Coolidge administration got into power, They were headed for one hell of a recession, even depression. What this administration did was to cut government spending 50% and cut taxes 50%. Within a year, the economy boomed. But, those politicians couldn’t keep well enough alone, they again began to tinker with our economy, that led to the depression in the 30’s. If we were allowed to explore all of our natural resources, we would be the biggest exporter of oil, gas and coal. We could pay off our debt within 3 to 4 years, and we would again be the worlds lender. And maybe, we can again go back to a gold and silver currency. We wouldn’t have inflation, because our politicians wouldn’t be able to spend more than they are getting. And also, maybe we can do away with our income tax. We may even get rid of the 16th amendment. ONE COULD ONLY WISH
>>>Times are hard now and theyre going to get a lot harder in the weeks to come.
Obummer and his Marxist buddies WILL NOT yield the high ground quietly. Theyve been working for decades to reach this point and victory (by their definition) is too close.
I expect to see some triggering event by September at the latest. Once the bitter clingers start shooting, Obummer can impose martial law and suspend the Constitution then all bets are off.
Were sitting on a powder keg, folks. Please complete your stockpiles soon.<<<
As delightful a fantasy as this is, my fears are far more somber.
Of course Obama and his Marxist buddies will not concede power, but both themselves and ourselves are Americans, and there are a lot of firearms out there. Gun control was a failure. A lot of us feel quite free to express our disgust at our benevolent dictators. This means that their acquisition of power needs to be subtle and slow.
Which is what they’re doing, as I see it. There’s no need for the gulags and Stalinist terror, both of which would inflame emotions against the state. What I see is endless regulation, for the people, of course, followed by this program and that program promoted with the good of all but which has the actual effect of enmeshing more and more of us into dependency on the government. And it will be done with smiling faces! Happy voices! Children’s voices speaking in praise! Of course people will choose food stamps over starvation, as they have already chosen government loans for college over washing dishes, government-backed mortgages over saving money, government contraception at no cost, and hundreds of other little things, all for us, which slowly erode our liberty and self-reliance. You should live out here in the Alaskan Bush and see what these ideas have done to destroy the beauty and strength of Native culture. Having perfected their techniques on Native people and blacks, the state is now moving in on the rest of us. You’ll notice that neither Natives nor blacks are fighting back. The rest of us won’t, either.
Keep your guns. Go to church. Listen to Mark and Rush. The web of dependency already runs deep. We won’t have a Bolshevik revolution, or even a Reichstag fire. The American version of the revoluton is more akin to cancer, and by the time the victim really feels it, it’s been too late for a long time.
God help us.
Thanks for the ping!
The die was cast in November 1932 and we have been moving incrementally to Socialism ever since.
The Republicans have had umpteen chances to do something and have failed or just not done anything.
What happened to all those rabid Tea Party types elected in 2010, they did nothing after getting there.
They could have drawn the line in the sand in the House and really tried but did not.
It is for the most part over and has been. There is just no Leadership on the Right. If your pinning your hopes on Newt you are just wasting your time.
Absolutely.
POLITICS did not GET us into the mess we are in; and POLITICS will NOT get us out of it.
SIN has placed this country in jeopardy, and ONLY repentance will get it out.
April 15th will mark the 100th anniversary of the Titanic sinking.
And yet, here we are, still trying to rearrange the deck chairs on the USS USA, as she slips beneath the waves.
But Newt will...
Nana Nana Nana...
You have spent WAY too much time with MORMONs!
Muslims are NOT the ones who have killed over 45,000,000 Americans in their sleep!
Are you still killing your unborn? -- GOD |
Good morning, Elsie!
While the rest are rearranging the deck chairs, we do have a candidate with the vision to save our ship, humble enough to know he can’t do it alone, and patient enough to let it unfold righteously.
Secede or die.
Then THAT will be the one I vote for!
The nature of leftism is such that there is no way they would let a group of people peaceably break free from their stranglehold on their lives.
Leftists always cry out, especially with issue related to sex, how conservatives seek to control everyone,
but when it comes to the question of, “if a group seeks to break free from control of the general government, which political leaning, leftist or conservative, would advocate force to bring them back under control” the answer is obvious.
Peacefully? Pay back is a bitch.
Absolutely right on the money!!!
The feckless, cowardly and compramising representation we have right now will not get the job done...
But, as long as we have the ability to make adjustments (changes) tothat representation, we can get through most of this...
But representation is a regional issue, what some want their folks to do is almost entirely different than what others in another demographic or region desire...
This one size fits all is an unrealistic expectation...
As for conservatives...True conservatives are hard to find that really get to work and do what they were elected to do...They run into a lot of opposition from likly “conservatives” who are not doing what they should be doing, and those “conservatives” that have been there for a while are more interested in maintaining those leadership positions than taking it to the political opposition, and leading those other members to the job that needs to be done...
I could care less if we ever do anything else in a bi-partisan manner in D.C. or any other level of elected government ever again...That has always been something that has work against us since they thought it was playing nice to those who appear to be more patient than we are...They know it’ll help them out in the long run...
We have NO such future vision in the Republican party, I do not care what some think about that either...Proof is in what we are going through now...
Just my opinion...
Too bad the TEA Party rallies and grassroots type activism is ignored by ALL factions of elected officials...At most you got lip service from the ones we wanted to bolster and support, and ignored, or at most, insulting terminology used by those we were identifying as the problem as well...
I guess it is just going to take a really radical event to force the cards to be played by those that do not believe we’ll fight for our side of the argument...They believe we do not have the guts to take it right to them in any way shape or form...
And even then, it might be too late...
Agree with your post. Rocks in the road ahead, even if every person elected to office were Republican. The electorate itself has been so brainwashed by Marxism and prosperity.
I’m not pinning my hopes on any individual here on earth. This is too big a mess. It will take years and concerted effort by a majority of Americans. Even then, it may not be enough. But that’s no reason to bash all of our contenders. They are the best we can do now. Failure to vote for one of them is a vote for the other side. I would prefer to give it the outside chance. People disrespected Reagan terribly, and he made mistakes, no doubt. But the good far outweighed the bad.
