Daddy, are you mad at me? Those were the first words out of the mouth of a scared little girl to her father when he was released this week after being charged with possession of a firearm because of a picture she drew at school of a man holding a gun - which turned out to be a toy. . .
"The kids were scared," said Thaler. "It is a four-year-old that we're taking the information from, but the fact is that this disclosure was very descriptive and very alarming to the officers investigating this."
It was a typical day for Sansone, who had no idea when he arrived at Forest Hills school to pick up his children, including four-year-old daughter Neaveh, that three police officers were waiting to arrest him . . .

I find it’s best to take out my yarn hair falls (Extensions) in the bush. I mean, they are good to have around - as a quick lashing or even fire starter. But they tend to get caught in branches.
I was so incredibly proud of my wife today.
We went for her to take her CCW class in preparation for acquiring her permit.
She was able to skip more than fifty percent of the class due to prior knowledge.
i thought it was all going in one ear, and out the other.
Nice choice.
:’) Thanks, and g’night all!
When my wife went to get her CHL I was due for renewal so I said we can go together and she told me that she wanted to do it on her own.
We have some pretty damn cool wives!
Daughter and pistol!
” If you can arrest him for a picture of a non-existent gun, they can probably tax non-existent cash.”
No problem, just make sure they know the cash is fake;)
What? And add counterfeiting to the charges!
No Thank You!
This is beyond absurd, and creeping towards idiocy......
This is beyond absurd, and creeping towards idiocy......
Just kidding:)
I know, man.
I picked up your ball, and ran with it ;o)
wHAT?
I'd be cool with that, so long as they took a 4-year old's drawing of money in payment. In fact, once equivalency has been established, I'll just pay taxes on real non-drawn greenbacks with a drawing.
Yes - absolutely obscene. My wife and I have and renew our CCW permits (although we believe - KNOW - that having to apply for a “permit” is a violation of our rights under the 2nd Amendment). We know that if some donut-muching wannbe Barny wants us to produce the permit, that although we strongly disagree with this law, here it is - NOW GO AWAY and try to bust some WASP, probably male, sober and otherwise 100 lawful, native English speaking American for the HEINOUS *gasp* “rolling stop” or for going 2 MPH over some idiotic speed limit posted for the express purpose of raising revenue. Meanwhile, the meth cooker directly across the street from where you have the guy pulled over is LAUGHING at you, and the child molester is hanging around the playground with his buddies, the union teachers, persuing his hobby. But, my goodness, Barney is making the world safe for busting the dastardly “rolling stoppers”.
Well done. She looks like she knows what she is doing, even at this tender age: grip, bagged rest, slightly flexed arms, head up. I'm impressed; she can handle the 40S&W with proper technique.
How old was she when you started her training? I started mine at 6yoa with a S&W 22 auto. Kids are curious and want to learn. It's good training to deal with unforgiving systems which require unvarying safety practices.
1930's. That commie Roosevelt's raw deal.
Her free speech was taken away. She has the right to draw what ever she pleases. The school should be sued for every imaginable reason and punished severely for the theft of rights. The person who instigated the incident should be dismissed with prejudice and loss of rights and pensions
In Canada yes, but it can happen here.
Last year in Houston TX,a dad I know personally, was called in for a meeting in his 8 year old’s school, with the school admin and POLICE.
Same thing, drawing of a gun; turned out to be a lazerquest pistol, from a school sponsored field trip.
When the kid told them that, they were pretty embarrassed, no apology though.
When ID10t’s like this are in charge of educating our children, Lord help us!
