Limbaugh Will Not Forgive Or Negotiate With Companies That Pulled Advertising

As advertisers keep joining in on the Rush Limbaugh boycott, one company only lasted a week before it went back to the conservative talk show host with its tail between its legs. But Limbaugh is not ready to forgive and forget.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Sleep Train, which had advertised with Limbaugh for 25 years, asked to relaunch a "voiced endorsement" on Limbaugh's show on Thursday ... and they were turned down.

The funny thing is, Sleep Train was the first advertiser to pull its ads from Limbaugh's show. After receiving a slew of angry messages for advertising on Limbaugh's show after he called a Georgetown law student a "prostitute" for advocating for inclusion of birth control in insurance plans, the mattress company Tweeted:

We don't condone negative comments directed toward any group. In response, we are currently pulling our ads from Rush with Rush Limbaugh.

This could backfire for Rush if the story is true.

You NEVER burn your bridges in the business world if you can help it.

Bad business decision from Rush if it is true. Future advertisers will keep this mind.

I think it is more about Limbaugh not trusting the advertisers that betrayed him rather than revenge. Eitherway Rush holds the cards.

Ridiculous. I’m sure Rush knows exactly what he’s doing since he’s been successful at doing it for many years. Future advertisers should keep in mind that dumping Rush because of a few nasty liberals is not a smart move.

Companies like Sleep Train are fools. Yes, they may have gotten complaints but those complaints will go away. Now, however, people will remember what Sleep Train did, for a long time.

Do you really think avid supporters of Rush care about Sleep Train? Or so many of the other products? Really?
The advertisement, nationally - voice endorsed products are a matter of listener loyally, pure and simple.

Whether the voice-endorsed products are Sleep Train, Chocolate Strawberries, or Carbonite, the listeners don’t care, really. They care about what Rush thinks about the products. And, therein my friend, is the crux of Sleep Train’s problem.

it’s time to return the favor... the left has been doing it for years

any company that advertises on a program or channel that provides progressive propaganda that attacks America, conservatives, or is an affront to Christian values... should be contacted, explained what they did wrong, and inform them you will start boycotting their product... and will make sure to contact 10+ friends to encourage them to do the same.

this is exactly what the left has been doing for years. it’s time to strike back.

Rush listeners are very loyal

They stopped buying Shnapple when they pulled their advertising, and Shnapple lost $millions and their stock price plummetted

I know that I’d seen that Legal Zoom was one of the companies. I logged in (used them before) and contacted them. I told them they were DEAD, DEAD, effing DEAD to me from here on out. I won’t even consider using them again.

Never got an answer back - on a subscribed account....screw them. Screw their service. They do not exist for me any more.
