Ridiculous. I’m sure Rush knows exactly what he’s doing since he’s been successful at doing it for many years. Future advertisers should keep in mind that dumping Rush because of a few nasty liberals is not a smart move.

The advertisement, nationally - voice endorsed products are a matter of listener loyally, pure and simple.
Whether the voice-endorsed products are Sleep Train, Chocolate Strawberries, or Carbonite, the listeners don’t care, really. They care about what Rush thinks about the products. And, therein my friend, is the crux of Sleep Train’s problem.
Rush handled it artfully. He told his audience that the advertisers didn’t want the audience anymore. Now they don’t have them. You are right that future advertisers will keep this fiasco of bad PR in mind.

For the most part that is true.
If a customer has cheated you or tried hard to cheat you through the courts I don’t want them back period. I don’t want to be cheated again or learn new ways on how it is done.
If that’s not the problem and its legal, then just charge enough more to make it worth its while, don’t say no. Let the customer decide if they want to do it or not.

Wrong. The advertisers burned the bridges, not Limbaugh. They were the cheating spouse...now kicked out of the house and will not be let back in.

how could he do otherwise? It would have been a slap in the face to all of his loyal fans and supporters that signed petitions and went ON RECORD against Sleep Train and others that bowed to leftist pressure.
Rush did the right thing. He doesn’t need their business if they are that fickle.
Wrong, this was the right decision. If an advertiser is going to play in with the left on a bogus scam they do not deserve to ever be trusted again.

It wouldn't do Rush any good to take them back because his listeners were the ones these companies were dissing! They can KMA because I will never buy anything from them again.
Rush is probably worth one half billion bucks or more. I don't think he cares to much about things backfiring.
