I know he has a lot of support here, but he hasn’t impressed me. If he were the nominee, I’d vote for him, but Gingrich seems to be far more capable.

If a candidate can’t speak from the heart then he shouldn’t run. A teleprompter is a crutch for a puppet candidate who’s speaking someone else’s line.
Add me to that box of rocks. If a man can’t speak without a teleprompter he has no reason to be president.

but the other candidates should razz Obama for being addicted to a teleprompter. Tell people that they are getting a fake, a fraud president because he can’t impress people without a teleprompter. He’s a phony.
I would recommend they do this at every opportunity. Damn, the maladroit couldn’t talk to school children without a teleprompter.
He’s a pretty popular box of rocks. We’ll see how he stacks up to the other boxes of rocks today.

Obama is utterly incapable of giving a speech without teleprompters. Having a few notes written down to keep on track is fine but he reads his speeches word for word off his prompters.
