Obama is utterly incapable of giving a speech without teleprompters. Having a few notes written down to keep on track is fine but he reads his speeches word for word off his prompters.
Obots hell...there are people on FR pushing the nonsense that he as a deadly debater who would chew any of our guys up in a debate. And that he speaks well, is articulate et all.

However, the truth is that he was still pretty good in his debates with McCain, without a teleprompter. I thought he'd fall on his face, but he didn't. He may not be able to give a full speech from memory, but he's generally not bad when answering questions on his feet.
I can't stand the guy, but we shouldn't underestimate him either.
