The rift between Sleep Train Mattress Centers and Rush Limbaugh apparently became permanent today after Limbaugh reportedly turned aside the Sacramento retailer's attempt at a truce.
Limbaugh rebuffed Sleep Train's request that the controversial radio host resume his duties as a paid spokesman for the company.

So after years of plying the high-flying byways of the Limbaugh Money Express, Sleeptrain, the very conscience of governmental funding for birth-control devices(after all, that's where most birth-control devices get to prevent pregnancy, in bed ) wanted to get back on the Limbaugh gravy train once the issue of the government's financing of Flook's recreational proclivities having been resolved in a manner of speaking but was very astutely rejected as advertiser by Limbaugh, the same point about money might as well be applied to SleepTrain as was castigated against Limbaugh.
Must be local ads, because I’ve never heard of Sleep Train.

Hey I’d call that an education, ya know? Baaad biz instincts....
Even though they advertise on other consrevative talk shows, I doubt they will hold market share. There is much overlap amongst the listeners.
This will hurt them big time.
I went to their website and apparently they only have stores in California. Looks like I’ll be able to boycott them without any effort. haha.

Maybe they could get Sandra Fluke as their spokesman. It's a perfect fit!

Sleep Train was Rush's FIRST sponsor, before Rush was syndicated, and they opened their most successful California branch virtually in the backyard of Rush's station --the parking lots of Sleep Train and KFBK were physically CONJOINED.
The short story is that Sleep Train was tiny, languishing, and had made a couple iffy biz decisions, and the next (train) stop was missing a loan deadline.
AND THEN he started to advertize with Rush, who at this early point was known only locally:
The money just GUSHED in, in rivults and then a torrent, and Sleep Train was SAVED.
I'm not kidding you -- RUSH SAVED, THEN BUILT SLEEP TRAIN.
