WASHINGTON (AP) A super political action committee supporting Rick Santorum in the Republican presidential race says it's time for Newt Gingrich to drop out.
Stuart Roy, an adviser for the Red, White and Blue Fund, told The Associated Press Wednesday that the former House speaker is splitting conservative voter and making it difficult for them to settle on a conservative alternative to front-runner Mitt Romney.

This super-pack is only helping romney by making Newt supporters turn from Rick.
When Lil’ Ricky becomes a Conservative, I’m sure Speaker Gingrich will take it with all the consideration it deserves.
Nuts.
The numbers tell the whole story. Santorum hasn’t harmed Gingrich but Gingrich does harm Santorum.
In florida, Gingrich lost by more than Santorum took. In Michigan, Santorum lost by 3 and Gingrich took twice that much. In Ohio, Santorum lost by 1 and Gingrich took double digits.
Romney could have been knocked up by now.
Oh look, another one of bandwagon Rick’s flunkies demanding that people that actually value their vote mindlessly vote for him.
This isnt affirmative action. Newt is working for his vote, while Rick just wants it handed to him.
Why, so Santorum can come in second in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Texas??
Romney came in second in Georgia, Oklahoma and Tennessee yesterday.
Keep the wins from Romney is the goal now, just as it was before Super Tuesday. To display his weakness and get us a winning candidate at the convention.
the two are less than 50 delegates apart.... why not have the bushes 4th term drop out, and let a fighter win it
With the organization and money that Romney has he wouldn’t have conceded any more than one of the other candidates. I voted Newt in Ohio yesterday and I would again - this needs to keep going with all - if it’s a convention call so be it. Let all the states have a say for a change.
It’s being talked about here on the radio, in Ohio, that 100,000 dems voted for Romney.
Anyone know how Santorum’s money is holding out? I sent his campaign a message saying I was praying for Bella and receive several requests for money a day.
OTOH have donated to Newt and just was reminded about the 2.50 gas fundraiser.
There was a blurb this morning that Romeny was spending much faster than it was coming in.
not good
but who am I to talk after voting for Hildabeast in the 08 Indiana contest per Op Chaos
payback is a b!tch I guess
“Romney could have been knocked up by now.”
Not if he put some free Govt aspirin between his knees.
My state doesn’t hold its primary until May. I so want to vote and work for Newt here!
Ron Paul is dangerous.
Ron Paul, Soros and Defense

Before everyone gets their panties in a wad. Obama is already starting to make the moves to destroy our military.
Ron Paul will just drive the knife into their backs.
I thought it was clever how the Obama military haters are going to cut Benefits for veterans and wounded soldiers.
Wonder how far enlistment will drop on that one.
One of Ron Pauls best friends is George Soros..
Romeny already holds over a third of the Delegates, and has more than both Santorum and Newt combined. If the remaining states do what they are slated to do, Romney will have the nomination sewed up by the end of April.
It is what it is. You can blame whomever, till your face turns purple, but that won't change reality for what it is.
The facts are, the entire Republican Primary, has become a joke. Santorum can't win, and neither can Newt. Even if Newt were to quit now, Santorum does not have the necessary preparation or organization, to qualify for the number of delegates he needs to win.
I absolutely guarantee that under any circumstances, I will NOT vote for Santorum or his big brother, Romney. I will not vote for unqualified candidates, period.
** President Newt Gingrich-”Our beloved republic deserves nothing less.”
Sarah Palin’s reaction: “Oh, boo-hoo.”
Since a combination of Santorum, Gingrich, and Paul will suck more votes from the onerous Romney than any single candidate, they should all stay in the race.
This will improve the odds for a brokered convention.
The critical thing is to keep the onerous Romney from getting the 1144 votes needed for a first ballot nomination. Because if he fails in this, it will be a wide open convention and delegates can vote for whoever they choose.
And it won’t be Romney. In fact, it probably won’t the Santorum or the other current candidates, either.
It is almost certain to be a more conservative candidate, who is *not* controlled by moneyed interests, and is *not* a whopping egomaniac. One who is focused on the obeying the constitution, conservative core values, and has a profound ethical sense.
