Geert Wilders, who leads the right-wing Party for Freedom (PVV) in Holland, said last week he believes Jordan should be renamed Palestine. The Jordanian government responded by saying Wilders' speech was reminiscent of the Israeli right wing.
Wilders added that Israel deserved a special status in the Dutch government because it was fighting for Jerusalem in its name.
"If Jerusalem falls into the hands of the Muslims, Athens and Rome will be next. Thus, Jerusalem is the main front protecting the West. It is not a conflict over territory but rather an ideological battle, between the mentality of the liberated West and the ideology of Islamic barbarism," he said.

A good idea, then Israel can ship all the barbarians back to their new country.
I hope he has very good bodyguards. He is causing both Libs and Muslims heads to explode with his comments, and I hope he is around for a long time.
Fine by me and he is correct
He gets it.
EXACTLY!!!
That’s where the Paleo-stinians were supposed to settle originally.
They were massacred and pushed out by the Jordanian army.
Its good to have a Wilders there. Holland still has their Breitbart...
Actually Jordan is the Palistinians ‘old country’.
I'm ever so sure - with the values Islam has given the Palestinians - that in no time they'll turn their little corner of desert into a garden like the Israelis did...
And if it's not turned into a garden - and women are still second or fiftieth class citizens - are not allowed to contribute to the culture - and female children are killed to satisfy 'daddy's big fat ego" and the culture reeks of death - it would still be fun to watch that part of the world come up with endless excuses as to why it's not their fault their country is a loser. and how they can blame all their failures and thuggy governments on the Joos and the United States.
It's all entertaining if we're not forced to go over there and babysit.
The Palestinian Fedayeen were pushed out because they were arrogantly patrolling with heavy weapons in Jordan, killing Jordanian soldiers and officials and openly threatening to overthrow King Hussein and set up a Palestinian-controlled republic. Jordan therefore launched a military offensive to crush them, and they deserved nothing less...

Heh. I knew I was missing an important part of the story.
Thanks for filling it in.
Apparently, the Paleo-stinians have always been savages.
“I hope he has very good bodyguards”
He is under police protection due to death threat by peace loving muslims. I understand that he has to change home very often.
He is a great polititian and as an european myself I admire him very much. It is sad that any polititian speaking against íslam in Europe finds himself or herself under attack, not only by muslims but by other political leaders.
Europe is fast becoming Eurabia, thanks to the cowardice of European presidents and prime ministers.
He is right. Palestine was divided into two parts. A sliver was given to the jewish palestinians, and renamed “Israel”. The remainder was given to the arab palestinians and renamed “Jordan”.
Israel is jewish palestine. Jordan is arab palestine. That is the original “two state solution”.
The war resulted in the deaths or expulsion of thousands of Palestinians from Jordan. Good job too.
I really admire and respect Mr. Wilders. The world needs a few million more of him.
News story is from 2 years ago.
“Michael Palestine” just does not have the same ring to it.
What's the fun in that?
Every adult over 40 with a brain knows that "Palestine" was for 100 years the name of a region similar to our "Midwest," before Jordan existed. The resulting ignorance failed to see the conscious intentional confusion created when the greater part of the original "Palestine" became the Kingdom of Transjordan, later shortened to "Jordan."
So many facts, so little understanding...
