Not to worry. I am sure they will be quickly replaced.

You have to be a complete, liberal knucklehead to remove Rush’s show from your lineup or you were just waiting for an excuse to do it in the first place.

I was expecting less Ad time on Rush today, and more of Rush. No such luck. There were plenty of Ads, lot of them local businesses, doctors, dentists, casino’s.

I'm betting the sales managers and dales staff were NOT consulted about this move.
I'm also thinking a lot of resumes went out from those stations.

A small, tiny town in the middle of the Pacific, of no national renown gets mentioned in the UK Daily mail because it is one of TWO radio stations in the entire US to drop the Rush Limbaugh program? Odd!!
More newsworthy, however, is that the lone, single remaining home in the Royal Gardens subdivision on the island of Hawaii finally succumbed to Madame Pele after 31 years of threatening lava. But that was not mentioned.
It looks to me like the pack of wild dogs were fed their fresh meat rather than hunting it.

Yet all of Rush’s listeners will remain with him, not some station manager that’s about to face economic reality.

The leftists are going after a ton of radio stations now. You can follow what they’re attacking next on Twitter on the “#BoycottRush” tag (and I believe there’s a Facebook page).
They just keep hammering one advertiser, etc. until they cave, and then they move on to the next one. It’s all AstroTurf- the real numbers aren’t there...
It would be a good time to contact your local affiliate and say some words of support for him to counter this, and to post good words on Facebook pages of his sponsors as well, IMHO.

Certainly, anyone has the opportunity to write to the sponsors who dropped him, but they are also on facebook.
I was on ProFlowers on facebook today. Interesting comments. More in favor of Rush than those who are not.

Those broadcasters loss will be some other station's gain.
Rush has loyal listeners and just because these stations drop him means they'll lose that audience while someone else will gladly carry Rush and jump up in both the ratings numbers and commercial sales dollars.
You win a few... lose a few... and some get rained out.

2 radio stations, out of 500+? BFD!!!
If I was a station owner in those markets, I’d be jumping on the opportunity to build a conservative talk format around the nations #1 talk radio program. These station managers are spineless wimps. This will end up costing them much more in the long run...

From FOX News:
The rush to censor Limbaugh
So why are the Left and the media still pushing and publicizing a campaign for advertisers to dump the Limbaugh show and end his career?
Because it has little to do with his words. This is all about disingenuous politics. Liberals want this government-mandate controversy to be not about religious liberty, which is devastating, but about contraceptives, which works in their favor.
That is intellectually dishonest.
They want to position conservatives as anti-women. Thats as ugly as it is untrue.
Everyone remembers Ed Schultz calling Laura Ingraham a slut on his radio show.
Fellow talk show host Mike Malloy hoped Sarah Palin drives herself into madness and insisted Michele Bachmann is an evil bitch from Hell who would have gladly supervised the Holocaust.
Montel Williams rooted on Air America for Bachmann to slit her own wrist or throat.
Randi Rhodes insisted that teenage boys werent safe from Palins advances if they stayed over at her house. Theres no news coverage or war on women narrative when the mud-covered women are conservatives.
Maybe these hosts arent prominent enough?
Then consider the case study of Bill Maher, whos welcomed all over TV news shows.
A year ago on his HBO show, he called Sarah Palin a dumb twat.
He followed up days later in a Dallas stand-up routine by calling Palin the C-word.
Last July on HBO, he said Palin was a bully who sells patriotism like a pimp, and the leader of a strange family of inbred weirdos.
Last September on his show, Maher said Palin would have sex with Rick Perry if he was black.
Days after he called Palin the T-word, he appeared with then-CNN host Eliot Spitzer, where Spitzer concluded, Your show is brilliant. I love watching it.
On Sunday, Democratic Party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz huffed on Meet the Press that "I don't know any woman in America that thinks that being called a slut is funny." But two months ago, she accepted an invitation to sit on the set with the man who called Palin a c---.
A couple of years ago, comedian Louis CK joked on the Opie and Anthony radio show about Palin coming to the Republican convention holding a baby that just came out of her f-ing, disgusting [C-word], her f-ing retard-making [C-word]. I hate her more than anybody, he said.
On Twitter, this comedian attacked Palin in 2011 as a fing jackoff [C-word]-face jazzy wondergirl who has a family of Chinese poor people living in her [C-word] hole.
Guess which event this same fellow is headlining in June? -- The Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner.
WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE?!?!?

I was shocked to read that stations dropped Rush. When I read it was Hawaii and Massachusetts, I wasn’t surprised. In fact, I laughed. It was too obvious.
To: Outlaw Woman
Two talkradio stations in the same broadcast area don't play the same shows—in Columbia SC one plays Rush and the other Neal Boortz and I can guarantee that if Rush is dropped from one station he will end up on the other—and Neal would probably end up on the station that had Rush first.
The Leftist haters think they have won but it's just the last laugh game playing out.

A Massachusetts station dropped Rush? The pro-abortion sodomite hellhole that sent Barney Frank, Gary Studds, John Kerry and assorted booze-running Kennedys to Washington? A state so vile and filthy one has to take a shower after merely driving through? The state that elected Romney as Governor?
