Rush Limbaugh advertiser today revealed it will pull all adverts from his radio show after the host caused widespread outrage by branding a student a slut for her views on contraception.
The 61-year-old made fun of her for saying religious institutions should cover birth control in health insurance - and said in a further show that she should have to make sex tapes if this ever happens.
Now mattress retailer Sleep Train, based in Rocklin, California, has bowed to pressure on Twitter and said it will no longer advertise on the show. Other advertisers are being called to do the same.
Rush Limbaugh, 61, left called Sandra Fluke, right, a student at Catholic college Georgetown University, a 'slut' for saying religious institutions should cover birth control under health insurance We don't condone negative comments directed toward any group, a Sleep Train spokesman tweeted. Thanks to all of you for your concern and input.
Meanwhile advertiser ProFlowers said it will 're-evaluate its marketing plan and dating site eHarmony insisted it will look into the matter of "network buys".
The host said Sandra Fluke, of Catholic college Georgetown University in Washington D.C., was promiscuous for saying woman should get the pill for medical reasons.

Rush won’t even notice. Another advertiser will fill the gap.
Never heard of Sleep Train. No big loss for Rush. These people are knee jerk, p.c., idiots. Good riddance.
A mattress retailer?
Hmmmm . . .
He’s put so many retailers on the map, that he has them lined up out the door.
A mattress retailer?
Hmmmm . . .
You don’t suppose they are in bed together
or is it just a fluke.
Sleep Train? I’ve heard of Sleep Number, but Sleep Train? They should pull that advertising because it isn’t working!
This is the town that wants to outlaw somoking outside of your own home, go figure.
A mattress company? Really? Is this a joke?
Perhaps Sleep Train should provide the Fluke slut with a free matress so she can have a place to carry out her slut duties on.
They may also want to consider providing her multiple matresses per year since things are likely to get a little sloppy since she can’t afford birth control.
Promiscuous-Americans are some of our best customers. They wear out mattresses far quicker than the average.
They just blew a big opportunity...
It is only because they are now going to use Sandra Fluke as their spokeswoman.
It doesn’t matter what leftists call conservatives, even this week, it never does.
Good thing these advertisers are reevaluating. Their products ease slutting.
Who knows? Maybe Fluke will soon be asking for a free bed, free roses and free dates.
Not a publicily traded company, but if it was I’d short it.
It’s employee owned, so if you know anyone that works there, tell them to clean up their resume. I forsee store closings in their future.
After looking at pictures of Sandra Fluke from this article, I’m not sure why she is so concerned about paying for contraception. $3,000 for three years? I think she might have meant to say 3 contraception devices in three years and that’s probably stretching it unless she meets a lot of guys with beer goggles on.
Apparently they don't make mattresses, they sell them, from a chain of stores.
