Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America's most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

If it is true, that would truly be a “bridge to nowhere....”

People should use discernment (and I use that word advisedly) regarding this.

Seven soldiers wounded today. Two American (soldiers?) killed execution style yesterday and two American soldiers killed earlier in the week. Doesn't the Messiah know that his groveling is only weakness to the Muslims and gives them the temptation to humiliate us further (which they are doing quite well)?
Now Pastor Warren is pulling the scheiss unsin and will also encourage contempt amongst the Muslims for us :(

Why does someone like Rick Warren try to pretend their god of evil is the same as the Christian God of Love.
I’m not sure he’s “stupid”, a “fool” or a “fraud”. In the spirit of full disclosure, I have listened to some of his sermons on line and think he’s an intelligent man (but this is NOT an admission that I agree with his teachings). However, I think he’s highly deluded if he believes that islam is compatible with Christianity and he’s wasting his time (and church resources) if he’s working toward that goal.
