Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum continues to ride his polling momentum into Ohio where he leads Mitt Romney by nearly two-to-one in the first Rasmussen Reports survey of Republicans in the state.
The new statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Santorum picking up 42% of the vote to Romneys 24%. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich draws 13% support, while Texas Congressman Ron Paul picks up 10%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided.

I’d be glad to help you out but they frown on voting in two states in these parts. (well my conservative brethren do anyway)
So true. Time to take on Obama.
Good
Times.
Are.

The Left thought the same thing in '08 and look how that turned out. I'm not worried.
That reminds me,should I check and see if my Dad’s still on the voter rolls in Detroit? He passed away in 2010, wonder if he’s still listed or not.

Exactly! Hussein got elected. I’m worried.
I always check my voter registration status as elections approach.
No surprises.
Do you think negative ads are backfiring?
Santorum for President Ping List.
FReepmail Antoninus to be added or removed.
I’m surprised. Here in Dayton, I haven’t seen much excitement for Santorum (certainly not any for Mitt).
“WOOT!
see ya Romney! “
Well said!
Woohoo!
“In a potential Election 2012 matchup, the president posts a 47% to 43% lead over former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. If former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum is the Republican nominee, the president leads 47% to 41%.”
Considering how many wrong decisions Pres. Obama has made, I’m amazed at this. The media is waiting for this primary to be over so they can REALLY attack the nominee.
Conventional thinking is that the longer the primary drags on, the more it hurts the eventual nominee because they’ve had to fend off criticism from primary opponents as well as spend money to run against primary opponents.
That’s true, however, let’s just say one of the GOP candidates has already wrapped up the nomination. At this time, the media (who works on behalf of the Democrats), would only have to focus on demonizing, demagoguing, belitting, caricaturing 1 person. At this time, they still have to divide that time between mainly 3 people.
I’m kinda thinking that the longer the primary process, the better. Believe me, the media is going after the GOP candidates pretty hard right. Just think what it will be like when there’s only one to focus on.

I giggle with glee every time I see Romney fall in the polls. I will need some serious medication this fall when I watch Obozo’s numbers begin to plummet.
