The Left thought the same thing in '08 and look how that turned out. I'm not worried.
A long primary is a good thing if solely for the publicity, exposure and building up name recognition. Obama was a household name by the time the primary was over. I can guarantee you if the name Barack Obama showed up on the ballot with little warning no one would have voted for him. As long as the media coverage isn’t devastatingly negative, it’s a plus to keep the candidates’ names in the news.
