SOUP FOR THE TROOPS

WELCOME TO

(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities

.

Like WOW!
I read the story of father and son serving in the military.
That Dad is AWESOME.
I love these quotes from him:

"I know the Air Force will take care of him,
but nothing short of a presidential order could keep me
from visiting my son to see him settling in," Sergeant Josephs said.

"You should be like a racehorse with blinders on
-- just watch your lane," he said.
"Don't worry about what others do.
As long as you do what is right, you can make a difference."

And KUDOs to Clark, not only for the medal, but for his service.
At 95, he's lived a good, full life.

~ Today...Rain...
Mainly in the afternoon.
Highs in the lower 50s.
Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
Chance of rain near 100 percent.

~ Tonight...Mostly cloudy.
A slight chance of rain in the evening.
Lows in the mid 30s.
Southeast winds around 5 mph...
Becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.
Chance of rain 20 percent.

Making Z Zoup
A little of this...a little of that...

The first medical use of leeches dates back to
approximately 2,500 years ago. The leech's saliva
contains a property that acts as an anticoagulant for human blood.

The kidney consists of over 1 million little tubes,
and the total length of the tubes in both kidneys
runs to about forty miles.

Lloyd's of London, the best-known association of insurance underwriters,
does not write life insurance.

When he was a child, Blaise Pascal once locked himself in his room
for several days and would not allow anyone to enter.
When he emerged, he had figured out all of Euclid's
geometrical propositions totally on his own.

I've got to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!

Come in and sit for a while.

There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

PLEASE REMEMBER THEM ....

((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies.

Well, my sister didn't come yesterday. She's still trying to work out the details on the new fence.

Bo and I did go out to the lake yesterday. We had a great time out there. He caught another mole. The second in two days. :-D

Howdy, EGC! ((hugs))

Sorry your sister didn’t get there yet and I hope she gets the fence issues taken care of so she can soon.

Glad you and Bo got out for a while. It must have been nice and I know he had a blast catching little “gifts” for you! :)

I try to let my wife do what she wants and stay out of her way. She likes to “window shop” online, so that keeps her busy.
