RAEFORD, N.C. — A Hoke County preschooler was fed chicken nuggets for lunch because a state worker felt that her homemade lunch did not have enough nutritional value, according to a report by the Carolina Journal.
The West Hoke Elementary School student was in her More at Four classroom when a state agent who was inspecting lunch boxes decided that her packed lunch — which consisted of a turkey and cheese sandwich, a banana, apple juice and potato chips — “did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines,” the Journal reports.

The student’s mother told the Journal she received a note from the school about the incident and was charged $1.25 for the cafeteria tray, from which her daughter only ate three chicken nuggets.

What a joke. Makes me want to vomit. Telling us what we should feed our children, going beyond that, FORCING our children to eat what they want them to.

Nothing except it wasn't “state sanctioned" lunch....only your nanny state employer knows what's best for you , even more than your own mother....after all they think the state is your mother ...
Just wait till MOOCHELE and her minions are forcing your children to eat lima beans and brussel sprouts and hey now its lets move time, no time to sit and relax and just be a kid oh no, no, no, your kids don’t have the freedom to be kids they need to be healthy and strong because your going to be depending on government to guide you through your life....
I would have gone absolutely bonkers if they ever pulled this on me when my kids were in school.

I completely doubt it. The grooming of a compliant populace is nearly complete, as evidence, I present, President Barack Obama. Further evidence would be the re-election of that vile person as President.

Exactly what I meant. When order breaks down and the rule of law is taken for naught (we’re very close now) some USDA inspector will be leaving the school grounds at room temperature. I smell it coming.

This is “Big Brother is Watching You” stuff and people are treating it like a dispute over the contents of a lunch. As usual, the state cracks down with regulatory overkill on the law-abiding while this does absolutely nothing to address the negligence of the school system in serving up a chicken nuggets education. But this is what first lady wants.

Shades of 1930’s Nazi Germany. Kids are being groomed to be compliant little servants of the upcoming dictatorship. If you have school age children in public schools, you have to “de-program” them of this crap.
