A little after 1 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2009, Karl Frisch emailed a memo to his bosses, Media Matters for America founder David Brock and president Eric Burns. In the first few lines, Frisch explained why Media Matters should launch a Fox Fund whose mission would be to attack the Fox News Channel.
Simply put, Frisch wrote, the progressive movement is in need of an enemy. George W. Bush is gone. We really dont have John McCain to kick around any more. Filling the lack of leadership on the right, Fox News has emerged as the central enemy and antagonist of the Obama administration, our Congressional majorities and the progressive movement as a whole.
We must take Fox News head-on in a well funded, presidential-style campaign to discredit and embarrass the network, making it illegitimate in the eyes of news consumers.

Must need an extra large stocking cap
No matter how EVIL Democrats can be, Alan finds it acceptable. He is Evil. He is ugly outside and to the bone. He make Carville look almost presentable.
lol.... I did not know they brought him back. I do not know if the 'foxes' poll liberals to see how much liberals HATE FOX news, but that is a poll I would love to see get done. I know some 'red' liberals that despise with a RED rage FOX News.... I used to 'feel' sorry for some of my liberal family and friends for being so unbalanced. Then after seeing some of the Jon Stewart media stunts pulled by some of the fox readers and their wise sage analysts I was forced to see my 'liberal' family and friends had a point.
And let US not forget Roger Ailes good buddy stalking Sarah to write his book of filth and vile smears.... I won't mind one little bit for when the exotic foxes get their comeuppances....
And what they can’t find, they’ll fabricate.
Pi$$ on Fox! Both their channels. They’ve just turned out Judge Napolitano tonight and the story goes that Eric Bolling and David Asman are going to loose their shows as well on FBN. Over @FNC, O’gasbag and Hannity have their heads so far up Romney’s a$$ that they are loosing their tans. I usually hate Greta, but she’s coming up as the only one I can stomach. So Media Matters, you can have at FOX. Fire at will, they are no longer on my list to watch.
Here! Here!!
Greta will have five shows wondering aloud if this is possible.
This is a tactic they use: To disrupt and muzzle those who reveal the truth about their dealings. I am sure Zer0 is taking pleasure in seeing Fox jerked around by his surrogate thugs.
If they dig up dirt on FOX journalists - just IMAGINE the dirt Murdoch could dig up on the lefty MSM journalists [a lot of them got MAJOR skeletons in their closets] ...
And Murdoch DOESN'T need to create a "fund" to bankroll it - he's got more money than God ...
Actually, they couldn't care less.
Well no more Fox.
And when are some rich Conservatives going to start a cable news channel that is truthful and thereby Conservative. One that doesn’t lean over backwards trying to be “fair and balanced”. Truth doesn’t sit on a fence.
Is this the same Eric Burns who used to appear on that Fox Saturday show about media bias? If so, he probably already knows about a lot of skeletons at FNC.
Note to left: If your ideology didn’t require revisionist history, outright lies, and rhetorical slight-of-hand to remain viable, you wouldn’t have to resort to attacking ANY media outlet, now would you?
When FOX brought back that disgusting, vile satanic Alan Colmes, that did it for me and now this elections cycle and blind adoration for Mitt finally sealed it. Alan is the most vicious ugly hateful depraved person in the media I have ever witnessed. -—————
I think Colmes is second. CNN’s James Carville comes in first, in my book. He’s the one who decided within minutes of 9-11 he and the media would demonize Bush. And they did for years upon years upon years. Then they jumped to Governor Palin....Colmes only follows.
Ha! That’s one dude who would look better with even a bad wig on.
Visual argument against forceps deliveries.
Can we hire gang member thugs to go beat Media Matters employees to death?
